...when he went down clutching his face?
From what I heard, Carr flew the elbow back, maybe in an an attempt to shepherd.
Did anyone get a better look?

Didn't see it, but on another forum they said Johnson went in to sheppard, but went in awkward(maybe slipped) and clashed.
There was alot of that today. Everybody running their guts out. Weak Legs, errors... in the wind.. putting their bodies on the line.
good luck next week. You guys have had a bad run with the press......as we have and will again...:(
Johnson's good performance puts double points in for the journos to comment on.

Didnt see it absolutely flush on but Josh Carr collected him. He will be scrutinised as a result...they might even have some film of it.
Freo tried these tactics all day. Solimon raced in when the ball was going up the other end of the ground and gave one to Tenace in the guts. Should get a week if its cited.
Freo worked hard for a melee all day and never got one. they need to find a balance for their play or it will keep costing them suspensions, credibility and 4 points.
Well done to our boys for staying focused and winning what really counts. Credibility and the 4 points.
Josh Carr punched him in the bread basket. Moons pointed the finger at him cause SJ had no idea. Channel 10 showed footage last night. It was off the ball & something they would give Moons 2 weeks for.

Ha! They'll probably look at the footage of Mooney pointing at Carr and give him two weeks for an attempted eye-poke.
How 'bout McManus effort on Jimmy? Great to see Jimmy go on with in and leave it. Shows the maturity of the Lad:thumbsu:

Gotta love how Fremantle try to act tough and fail dismally. McManus and Carr are two cases in point, and then there's Troy Cook who tried everything he could think of to rough up Gazza last year, and Gazza just shrugged it off and kicked the lazy six. Half the Dockers side couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Freo are the side that have players in their 22 purely for starting a fight, and not to play football. Grover, Dodd the two prime examples.

Add McManus to the list.
Bloody thug like behaviour. No wonder Freo needs intensive membership campainging. Their club is full of thugs. Soon they shall be going the way of Barry Hall, Spida and Sydney.

McManus' effort on Jimmy in the last was terrible, ramming his head into the ground like that... should go for unduly rough play IMO absolutely disgraceful site...

McManus is a joke of a player, kneeing Bartel and pushing his face into the ground, we were at the pub when a replay of that came up and someone behind me yelled "git off him you purple touching c**t."
Ahh the drunk, such hilarity.

Win a flag?
And if you don't like a club "full of thugs", remove them from your other teams.

Channel 10 had a go at McManus and the Dockers for that sort of crap, basically saying "who are they trying to kid?" In that particular incident they said "Rove's trying to show he's a hard nut to one of the genuine hard-nuts of the competition" (or words to that effect).
The Carr incident was virtually identical to one Mooney was rubbbed out for last year (the one involving Port I think). The footage is not quite so clear, though, so he's got a good chance of getting off.

Grover is a joke. I think he had more head ducks and one handed marking attempts than possessions yesterday.

The fact that the footage is not quite clear doesn't stop them reporting Mooney. Well hell, we will investigate him even if there is no footage. Watch Kerr get off. :thumbsd:

If Stokes got 4 weeks for what he did in the preseason, Kerr should get 6.

I still remember last year when he tried to start Big Cam about 200m off the ball ........................... in the NAB Cup.

I don't know what happened but I reckon Jimmy might have given him one... McManus is well respected in WA and is not known for being a dirty footballer, though his footballing ability is what I'd be dirty on if I was a docker fan!
Carr got a week for sniping Dog
or should that be Carr got a week for being a sniping dog ?

Did you hear what his defence was? He thought SJ was going to charge him so he stuck his arm out in a defensive manner. Yeah right! I guess he thought Headland got off with the provocation defence, so he'd try it.

I think McManus got cut because everyone knows that Bartel has more footballing talent in the nail on his little toe than McManus has in his entire body, and was just jealous. :p

Maybe McManus has a provocative tattoo. If it works on Des Headcase, why not on McManus!

HAHA yeh I laughed at this when I read it in the Hun this morning. If he does somehow get off it will be a disgrace. Everyone will contest their charges knowing that made up excuses will get them off.
