bsa, are you making sure the same NUMBER of people vote every week? otherwise you might get the situation where a player might get an unfair number of votes because more people voted that week.
maybe a better way would be to take an average each week?

But then I thought - nah, its too complicated
I'll just take the votes as they come, if more people have a vote in a given week - big deal. Its a count of all the votes, and like any election, getting your voters to the polling booth is half the battle !
So I'll just leave it as a K*I*S*S* type poll - most votes wins - end of story.
Unless, of course the rest of youse feel strongly about some other system ?

Good to hear from ya Drakey - welcome home :)
Some of us had a chat on the Adelaide Board before the game and the consensus was that it was going to be a close win to the Swans.
None of us took into account the Fitzgerald factor however. He was always going to BURN us.
We delisted him because he has been nothing but injury-prone here in Sydney.
As soon as we let him go - guess what happens ? :(
Has a great pre-season then comes out on Saturday and the guy has 3 goals before halftime - How none of us saw that coming, I'll never know.
I was reasonably happy with the way we scarpped it out after quarter time but once again, a bad lapse of concentration and non existant fighting spirit really cost us.
We have a pretty good team here in Sydney but nearly every week we go missing in action for a quarter or so and it costs us dearly all the time.
I really dunno what we can do about this, except to somehow, someway get the team to play with BALLS
