Its hardly surprising that since the AFL have removed their salary cap advantage they have sunk down to the bottom, showing everyone that without the AFL to give them a massive advantage they are no good.

Their team wouldn't of finished top four, let alone won three grand finals if the AFL hadn't allowed such a blatant example of favourtism.

As soon as the AFL finally gets around to removing the extra cap from the Swans, watch them sink as well, its pathetic that these teams are gifted premierships because they are not good enough to win them on their own.

The Bears better go and beg the powers that be to get the salary cap advantage reinstated, or they will be spending plenty more years at the wrong end of the ladder.

They got extra money because of the price of living there numnut!... actually west Aussies teams should start getting extra cos the price of living there is rising dramatically! Quite complaing and you might get that bonus one day!

It was a disgrace, but i guess the silver lining is that it shows that the Bears struggle without the AFL helping them.

No wonder they should have an asterix next to all three of their premierships that says they wouldn't of won this without the AFL gifting it to them.

Didn't your CEO ask the AFL for a bigger salary cap this year? Could be that the Eagles brass are resigned to the fact that they are going to lose players based on the salary cap and are looking for help. ;)

Also the Brisbane Bears played their last game in 1996. Are you really 10+ years behind the rest of us? :p

west coast cant complain after all the pre draft and zone selections they got in the late 80s,early 90s which
allowed them to pick up very good players and they still got them after they made the finals

what i did notice is there lack of fans there yesterday compared to 3 years ago, where they basicly occupied one whole end of the ground
off the bandwagon? all their new merchandise is suddenly looking that little bit older

Spot On! If they keep losing check out the empty seats at Gabba games compared to full house not so long ago. Their coach should start worrying about their game instead of gobbing off to the media about Kangas on the GC,(possible loss of revenue and fans-not that i want us on the coast) Mal Michael and whatever dopey thing Aker is going to come out with.
