The combination of younger players hitting the brick wall after 8 weeks in (plus the NAB cup) coupled with a number players back from injury who are not fully match hardened have combined to create a flat spot in our game style. The up side is that Hadley, Lappin, Selwood etc will get better. More thought into the playing structure will also improve our performance.

Shocking to say, but we played better without Nige in the team. Possibly some of the younger guys have takedn their foot of the pedal thinking that the more experienced guys would pick up the slack and maybe backed off too much?

I personally think that this is a normal thing for a young and inexperienced side The young players will have great games one week and crappy games the next its part of the learning process.

I am suprised that Leigh hasnt selected any of last years draft picks so far (Dont know if he has or not) It would be great to see some of young kids getting ago.

Trouble is they have to be playing better than the person they're replacing or offer something different. The one drawback with playing our ressies in the AFLQ is that it's hard to get a handle on form at times.

Leuenberger's is one game back from OP, Proud hasn't really set the world alight like some hoped, Hawksley while OK has been a bit up and down, Tyler likewise and Sheldon broke his leg. But Schmidt has been doing everything asked and more, so I'd like to see him rewarded for a excellent month of football.

I agree with all your points Belgian. Just to add, the Suncoast are playing the bottom team this week so again, no point in thinking that a Clark or Berger are going to light the world on fire if they happen to be BOG this week.
