Was sensational, in my opinion. Late I know, but just thought of it then watching the replay. Full credit to him. No bias detected at all.

Robert Walls should take notes.

Yeah, he is the best special comments man on TV imo.

Knows what he is talking about, cracks a few jokes and seems really at ease.

Hope he stays on next year.

Yeah, he's brilliant. Especially commenting on a Lions game, was quite unbiased and very impressive; but at the same time, not hiding his allegiance or how well he knew the Brissie players.

Voss brilliant?

Are you guys for real?

He sounds like a mentally challenged kid commentating on the game.

If it wasn't for David Schwarz he would be the worst special comments guy of all time.

at least he wasn't bias but....

remember when lloyd soccered the ball with his right foot.

"lloyd soccered the ball off the ground, that says that something is wrong with his hamstring. he soccered the ball off the ground there, that tells us something is wrong with his hamstring."

not the best piece commentary

I doubt you would get many to back up your argument

Well A.Maher who was on the boundary line had just told them that he was having hamstring tightness, so probably based it on that.....

Yeah I agree somewhat. He sounds like a big kid. Kinda strange considering how he was such a bastard on the field.

Friendly enough to listen to but doesn't really give enough quality analysis. Guys like Healy and Parkin are way better.

I guess people like to hear the bleeding obvious over and over and over again.

I saw Maher before the game. Very smackable face.

Mark my words! I would love to have Voss be our next coach, whenever that would be.

And Huddo...both my tools of the week, week in, week out.

Haha I noticed that. Was a bit odd.

I think nonchalance summed it up better than I did.

agree, but in fairness lloyd was running a little stiff at the time.

Also give me Voss anyday before dermot (i hate essendon) brereton. Or even worse, Robert (I really wish I was sheedy) Walls!

As others have pointed out, Vossy is far from spectacular. I for one hope he leaves commentary at years end and gets an assistant coaching gig somewhere, he has far more to offer the game involved in it than comentating on it.

Maher is a Muppet.

He and Christian are the two dumbest TV journos in the business.

Vossy doesn't come across as the brightest spark to me. Butchers the English language and dishes up words that you won't find in any dictionary.

I have the feeling that during high school he was dreamily staring out the window at the footy ground...

Well i have to say that i am suprised.

Must just be me and a few of my mates that think he is good.

I thought he did a decent job. I was impressed with his unbiased approach. Many commentators should take a leaf out of his book.

If you can't commentate from an unbiased point of view, don't commentate your clubs games, simple. There is nothing more annoying than commentators cheering/supporting moreso that actually commentating, "Tarrraaanntt!"

IMO Vossy did a great job in the comm box, better than some others that have been on in the past. Robert Walls should be in Vossy's position- He's very biased and hates the mighty Bombers... He just wants to be Sheeds.

Vossy isn't biased at all- and I hope he stays on as special comments guy- He knows what he's talking about.
