Terry Wallet must really really despise us. his article in the Hun accused us of playing with men behind the ball, and stkilda keeping Riewoldt and Gehrig inside 50m! what a load of crap! if i ever see this guy, i think he will be waking up to the truth.

Are you kidding? He hates us with a passion.
We are the carnal opposites of him, and our success proves his own failures.
There will be a massive falling out between him and Richmond, the million dollar question is when.
Richmond fans are so stupid, they will support him for longer than we probably think, but I doubt he will be coaching for more than about 12 months.
Terry Wallace's world revolves around getting praise for Terry Wallace.
Opening sentence from his article: - "TWELVE months ago to the day I was under siege for bringing the game into disrepute by playing "basketball crap" to win against a highly fancied Adelaide"
He's probably still smarting over crticism from last year's Adelaide game.

Ah Terry - hypocrite of the highest order (I remember the adelaide game last year).
Does he hate us?
Possibly, I also think jealous, envious, scared, and just plain worried that even later this year his team will be compared to the hawks.
And they won't be talking about some game where we beat the saints by 28pts.
He knows the tigers will probably end up with the spoon while we will be anywhere from 6-10 and having a bright future ahead of us.

Terry Wallet has despised Hawthorn, ever since he found out in 1986 that he was'nt in the highest top paid footballers at the club.
Preceeded to walk out on the Hawks for more money, and has shafted every club he has been associated with for more money.

The only thing that Wallet has to legitimise his his football pedigree with, is a premiership with The Mighty Hawks.
How quickly they forget.
To quote from a movie, The Colour Purple.
"You're a mercenary, you're a leatherface, you're a Tiger, YOU'RE NOTHIN!"
ok ok, maybe the words arent exactly the same, but if you know the scene, you'll have a chuckle. :p

Are you kidding? Of course he despises the Hawks.
We had the audacity to play him in the back pocket in the (winning) 1986 GF, and he's never forgiven us. His petulant move to Richmond cost him big time, missing out on all those premierships.
And he used the Hawks to stitch up a 5 year deal with Richmond, knowing full well we would never have allowed him anywhere near the best young list in the AFL.
Every time he looks at Hawthorn he would be green with envy. Any chance he has to take a poke at Clarkson, he will take it because he is a petty little man.
It suits me though, because I can't stand the jerk. You'd think for all the money Richmond are paying him he'd have the decency to pull back on his abundant media committments and put a little extra time into devising a winning game plan.
I am so pleased he doesn't have anything to do with our club.

Quoted for 100% accuracy.
Enjoy the Centrelink queues in 2008, Terry.

As stupid as the Tigers are, they'll keep Wallet untill his contract expires in 09.
By then, they may show a bit of promise so the board will extend his contract another 2 years to win the 2011 flag he promised.
I can't wait for 2011 when every football fan will stick it to the Tigers from round 1 untill the grand final. How much pressure has Wallet duffman (ooh yeah) placed on himself and his club (umm...the club that's fattening his wallet)
leather wallet remaining as a journalist for the hs makes it crystal clear what he's about. he thinks that it's all about pulling the wool over people's eyes to make a dollar. picking the hawks match wasn't personal, just an easy topic that's getting attention to crap on about.
he's starting to become undone, but i still wouldn't be surprised he gets a media gig after he's washed up after the tigs. he's just a slippery snake that knows the right people.

I thought his article was quite measured.
Lets face it he needs to be in his situation
That reminds me Gainsville are having a sale on leather lounges.

He's jealous and bitter about all the poor decisions he has made as player and coach.
When you've got supporters like this who support the club, wouldn't you be envious of the superior clubs?
BTW woeful and agonoizing watching the Hawks - done so on three occasions this year including the Brisbane and St Kilda game and there is no way I will waste my precious time again watching that rubbish.
Re some other points on Hawks - they have stockpiled picks but have come up with little of substance.
Lewis - good inside player with good hands , nice and tough but I am amazed by how many easy targets he misses by foot - cant see much improvement.
Sewell - like the kid and have for many years - could never understand why he wasn't played more early on - nice to see he has found his position
Birchall - meh - solid , neat nothing jumps out about him.
Gilham - just a player- really treading water until a better option comes along
Brown - tough and quick but will be regularly exposed by a good tall. Also has ordinary skills. Has had some success with the uberflood Clarkson employs which has him looking like Jason Cloke in his first few years - better than Jason but not the answer down back.
Crawford - great player - getting older.
Hodge - unfortunately suffers the Joel Bowden syndrome, not clean , incisive or hard enouh as a midfielder and loose as a backman. Like Joel is overrated and ends up with a gazillion posessions and all australian honours. Wont influence important games (no Judd unfortunately)
Doyle - looks a likely type - has improved this year - could become a player.
Roughy - was a wrap for the kid but has dissapointed - was influential on weekend although gifted a goal by Kozi - could become CHB or CHF and has time on his side but no certainty.
Rucks - basically plodders.
Mcglynn - version of our Matty White - pace hard at long kick but sprays them.
Young - softer version of Tivendale.
Buddy - kicks 1 goal every second game (and only got that against Saints in Junk time due to an appalling decision by the ump to pay a mark when butterfingers was juggling kittens - amazing how rarely if ever he takes a one grabber) Has a really unusual kicking action - changes often - could be a head case who will suffer multiple yips days. Fast tall, good evasive skills sometimes but is acomplete liability on the wrong side of the centre line - little awarenes of teammates and blind to better options. So far has proven to be a good flat track bully - beating up Ray Hall , some Carlton kids and a couple of other Mcadamish performances. Umps love him though and plays on confidence so its possible he will have a few more outings. The more I see of him though the more I see the risk that he will melt down under real pressure. Wouldn't knock him back at the tiges but happier we have Richie.
Muston, Dowler, Murphy, Ellis are somewhere in the Bermuda triangle and have proved nothing.
Bateman and Mitchell top players but wont get better.
Others - Meh and Double meh!!
Gave me a chuckle, apparently Deledio, Tambling, JOK, Polo and Meyer are on the verge of stardom :o

Hehe amusing indeed.
0-8 and stagnating youth must really hurt when you look at the success of our young players this year.

Wallet and Richmond, including deluded nit-wits who wrote that player assessment would give anything to hand us Richmond jumpers and play our players as theirs. I can't believe that guy wasted his time writing that absolute crap. Glad he did though cos it was pretty funny. Now I remember why I don't feel sorry for Richmond when they get smashed up by other teams and frankly I hope they lose every game this season just to put Wallace out of a job and to stick it to all those wonderful supporters who keep bagging us out of jealousy. My other Collingwood they have become. I never tip them and feel sorry for anyone who barracks for them.

Hes kidding himself and hes still hating us for us picking Clarkson before him and making him waste his time makeing presentations to us when we never wanted him anyway.
He doesnt understand the modern football that were playing now that gunna win premierships. He should give up and go back to the media where his suntan belongs.

42 games, 77 goals. A little more than 1 goal every second game.
Deluded Tiger Fan lives up to his name, except that he's deluded on the opposition.
i actually think he under-rates his own player joel bowden in his description of hodge. i think he plays pretty well out of his weight division, and gives good rebound. if he was in another team he'd probably get a smaller opponent and be further up the ground as hbf getting more possesions that are more effective (like clement). he's one of the few i wouldn't mind out of their team, and maybe deledio.
that thread by Deluded Tiger Fan has inspired me to find that guy on their site. it was just so bloody creative!

richmond have, according to that deluded wombat, a far better list than hawthorn. the hawks are sitting 5th on the ladder whilst richmond has had the worst start in the HISTORY of the richmond football club, holding up from the rear end. BUT its ok because the BARON of bullshit, terry wallace is into his third year of a 5 year plan and should win the premiership in 2011. mmmmmmmmmmm yep deluded wombat alright. I'm sooooooooo envious of their plans to be 0-9 this week.GO WOMBATS!!!!!!
