It's extremely annoying for commentators singing our praises for the first 2 weeks, saying we're super quick. Then after a couple of losses, saying we're a team that lacks leg speed.
Ridiculous!

Basically we have a two paced midfield. Winderlich and Lovett at one end of the spectrum with Peveril and JJ at the other. The thing is we are not lightning out of our backline so when we are doing poorly we do look slow.

That criticism really annoys me as well :mad:. I mean Sydney is hardly a quick team and they are never criticised for being slow.

Where have people called you slow? I remember at the start of the year when they came out with those stats, ie. heaviest, fastest, tallest, youngest, oldest teams... Essendon were listed as the fastest.

We are slow in moving the footy when we aren't playing our best.
We have the ability to be among the slowest and among the fastest.
Those that say we are slow are only wrong some of the time.

Well yeh, you can have the fastest foot speed, but I could kick a ball faster over 50m than any sprinter could run.
