Someone on the boards just commented at me being a racist, because of a threat earlier this year.

I think what I said had come out the wrong way.

There are some great aboriginal people, I have met some, truely inspirational.

But unfortunately in my experiences I have seen many more of the bad side.

Now I know that every culture has its bad side, and unfortunately for me I have seen more of this cultures bad side than its good side.

Gphonque, back in that thread I probably should not have used that example of that kid at my school, but the example from memory was not to point out that he bit me, but to point out how he was treated by the principle of the school, with regards to him being aboriginal. But I am sorry none the less, and it should not have been brought into the arguement.

I am certainly not a racist and I did not mean for it to come out that way at all.

Every culture has its bad side, whether it be white Australian, the Aboriginals or the Lebonese, either way we are all essentially the same.

Sorry once again..

Luke

TheMase,

It is only natural to base your opinions on your own experiences. Everyone is guilty of doing this, but I don't think you need to be sorry for your experiences and speaking of them.

Cheers mate!!

I'm not racist. I hate all races equally.

As Norman Gunston would say, "Last time I went to the races was at Sandown."

'Racist' is only a put down with little meaning. Don't worry about it. There was no malice in your post, only honesty about what you see in life. The suggestion is that you shouldn't be honest anymore.......just shut up about any issue involving race.......humbug, speak your truth with pride and without fear. Suppressed honesty is much more painful than being 'labeled' by a few 'put downers'. They seek to supress truth.

Well Mase you may not be a racist, but you are a "Westie" now! Which is far, far worse.

I hope you have grown the "Mullet", got yourself an Acadaca T-Shirt (Sleeves removed of course) and purchased a panelvan....you have to fit in mate! :D

God, I need a drink, I am agreeing with Frodo (or is he agreeing with me??)

Experience has shown me that those who label others 'racist' are often the real culprits.
