This is more of an example to how we can use the priority pick if we get it and the new father/son rule to our advantage.
Under the new father/son rule it is a bidding system. If say Richmond and Essendon bids thier third round pick for Daniher Essendon would get him even if Richmonds third round pick is lower. But if Richmond bids thier second round pick and Essendon bids thier third round, then Richmond would get him.
Richmond could have a major advantage if we get the priortiy pick this year. We effectively have a round where nobody else can bid in and the only way Essendon or Sydney could get him is to bid thier first round pick. So if Daniher is rated as a 14-18 pick and Essendon and Sydney have say picks 10 and 12 then it will work in our advantage.
I don't know where in the draft he is expected to go. But this is just an exampleto how we can use this rule to our advantage.
