I'm assuming there is a logical reason, and it probably has been discussed elsewhere, but I just about fell off my chair when I saw this.

What happened?

Apparently there was a bit of a communication breakdown which left no ruckman inside the square for that one bounce.

He would have been better off staying down and trying to rove off the opposition ruckmen. Oh well, we still won.

Thanks guys/gals

Not good if that sort of communication breakdown happens in the last qtr of a close contest. Oh well, he competed pretty well from memory.

Nah it was definitly 4th qtr. I remember the side he came in from. Cant remember what the scores were at the time, but it could have been costly. Luckily, we were playing Richmond!

I was at the game, it was a massive surprise to see the Great man in the ruck. I think he won the hit out as well. Just goes to show he can do anything on the field.

I think this is part of the problem that Ant robus is alluding to. There is a problem at the club in the coaching of the ruck division.

There's no logical reason.
