Looks like Brisbane will cop the worst of the draw in regards to teams played twice.
They are Geelong,Adelaide,Sydney,Hawthorn,Kangaroos,Collingwood and Carlton.
6 of the 7 currently top 8 sides.
All 7 have maintained or improved on last years form.
What are the odds?

Simple, if September is to be an extention of our year we will need to defeat 3 of the 6.... and do it well.
BUT... First things first, maul the tigers on Saturday!!

We can't blame the draw. We were rejoicing when it came out because it was our easiest in years. This was largely due to the teams we did get to play twice - i.e. Hawthorn, Kangaroos, Collingwood, and Carlton. It's just luck that some of those teams have improved.
If we had to play West Coast, Fremantle, St Kilda, and Western Bulldogs twice instead, we would have been cursing the AFL at the start of the year, and wishing we were drawn to play Collingwood, Kangaroos, Hawthorn, and Carlton. But nearly half the season in, Fremantle, St Kilda, and the Bulldogs haven't been particularly impressive.
We are not going to get an easier draw than what we have this year (basing it on the previous year's ladder). We also play/played Melbourne away at the Gabba, and the Kangaroos on the Coast. We have only one trip to Perth as well.

Agree, not complaining-but it is unfortunate as in bad luck that all these teams have improved or at least not fallen away on last years efforts.
Not saying for one minute it was a rough draw-just a comment on the way the cards have fallen

I think as well we got the Bombers when Lloyd was having his first game back from injury, plus the week everyone in the media decided to pot shot Sheedy and the team. They where always going to be fired up.

Well if our boys aren't starving for a win this week there is something seriously wrong.

True, I hope hooper is starving for some more games this season, and plays out of his skin!!!
Yeah, I agree...he's had a couple of good games this year and is known for his tackling & defensive...wait, you said Fixture. My mistake.
Coming soon, Snuka's 100th terrible joke!

I think there has been a bit of frustration this week. I think we have a big chance in this game but as always a game that does worry me. I think the winner will be the team who has the most goals kicked out of Richo and Brown (And maybe a few crumbs from Hooper on the side as well).
