I borrowed a mate's Bruce Springsteen collection a few days a go, and the Boss has been on high rotation since then.

I love that Thunder Road/The River/My Home Town diary style stuff, and Bruce does it as well as anyone.

What are our thoughts on Mr Springsteen and his body of work?

I've loved "The Boss'' since I was 16 years old.

Some of my favourites are "The River", "Drive all night", "Wreck on the highway" and "Nebraska."

But my all time Springsteen favourite would have to be "The River".

I LOVE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN!!! All my friends know that, but laugh at me for it - but is it that bad? I don't think so!

I like all of his old stuff and my favourite would be pretty much everything from 'Born in the USA'. I don't like some of his later stuff (all the slower songs) - he does rock much better!

Q. What's the funniest thing EVER in the ENTIRE HISTORY of the UNIVERSE?

A. Bruce Springsteen singing "Born In The USA" live.

In my opinion anyway.

I loved the way 'The Boss' used to roll his sleeves up on his shirts. Did he think he was 'The Fonz', or maybe it was just to have easy access to his smokes? ;)

I'm not real big on Bruce but grateful for his influence on fellow New Jersians, Bon Jovi.

30 years on, and every single one of Bruce's songs has been about a woman, a car and a job.

Not a bad formula, and I don't mind The Boss. :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else reckon he has a wierd way of singing? His bottom jaw doesn't seem to move, just the top of his head moves as he sings. It always reminds me of how the South Park mob portray Canadians, the way the top of their heads go up and down. I can't watch a Springsteen clip without falling of my chair laughing now. :D :D

Haven't heard huge amounts of his work, but yeah the stuff I've heard, I like. :)
