Hi everyone,
I am going to Perth for the Lions v Eagles game next week. I am looking forward to the game as it is likely to be my only live game for the year. Also I haven't been to the football in Perth before! I am looking forward to the atmosphere at the ground and a good game.
Cheers,
Mark

Great stuff. Got a ticket yet? What block will you be in?
I'm actually quite looking forward to the Lions game. Even if we get murdered, there's no better yardstick going around at the moment.
i totally agree with you carn.
it will be good to see if we can perform better against bris than the other non-top 8 teams that we have played (i'm going to include melbourne in this cause their steam will run out). the hardest test we will have faced.
i'm also looking forward to see a few of the brissy boys play. it is a pitty that their winning run will have to end that day. ;)
Yeah its a pity about there record....i mean fancy getting that close and then running into us....poor buggars :D

Hope you enjoy Perth and Subiaco Oval MSB! Last year I thought we were quite good against Brisbane, so it could be a good game next week. Perth-Brisbane/Brisbane-Perth roadtrip is the toughest in the competition so the home side will always have the big advantage.

Davis was a player at Geelong when they achieved their record winning streak in ~ 1953. He said in the Herald-Sun this week that he was seeking divine intervention to preserve their record.
Me, I can't stand the guy and I hope the Lions do it to stuff him. If only there was some way to do that with the Eagles still winning.

A friend of mine is getting the tickets so I don't know where they are yet.
What is the normal game day like in Perth? Do people go to the pub before or after the game or both?
