Based on this year, Victoria has a top 3 ruckman (McIntosh), possibly the best HBF (Shaw) a killer midfield brigade with Lewis, Mclean, Murphy, Stanton and Salopek and two of the three that will fight out the rising star in Pendlebury and Higgins.

Victoria easily.

WA has a better forwardline and backline, a good midfield and servicable ruckmen.

WA would flogs the Vics IMO.

Vics would flog WA. Far stronger midfield, better rucks, better forwards. Weak defence, though.

How is your forwardline better?

We have Franklin, Clark, Krakouer. You have Nablett, Hawkins, Cloke.

Not a clear cut win in either that back or forward lines. I would say the WA backline is marginally better because of Johnson, but the Vic forward line gets the points on performance so far.

Franklin is good for WA, but Kennedy has done nothing and Clark has had one good game as the second forward to a very imposing J brown.

Ablett has been far better than Clark, Cloke has become a good CHF and Higgins and hawkins look great.

The midfield class gap is massive. Vics destroy them

Krakouer hardly a tall.

Franklin > Cloke
Nablett > Clark
Hawkins > Kennedy

Vics have 2/3 better talls (when comparing best v. best, 2nd best v. 2nd best and so on).

McIntosh is from NSW, but we'd be happy to have him in the Vic's team.

Both Hawkins and McIntosh played most of their Junior football in Victoria though (MGS and MB/VC)

If Toovey is in the starting lineup, it is not a good lineup.
