Miller (wrist) is the funniest thing I've seen in a while, what's wrong with his wrist, is it a bit limp.

Wheatley joins Bizzel, Brown and Ward in the playing for their career lineup. Good to see Danners sticking with Frawley and Petterd.

CJ isn't in cause right now he is playing shocking footy, might come in next week for Frawley who I don't think is ready, CJ can then join the playing for their careers club.

11 days to the debut of Newton on QB where he will kick 10, Brock bagging 40 touches and us winning by 15 goals.

Love those predictions. :thumbsu:

Rapt to see Sylvia and Bate back, hopefully with a bit of luck they can remain back and continue on their improvement ready for next year. And who knows, maybe Wheatley will surprise?

Roo is underdone. I'd be more worried facing him in a few weeks when he's back to form.

Miller being out is great, even if it's an injury. Can wheatley not just go away?

I dont understand why we would drop Dunn, an impressing young player, and play wheatey, Brown, Ward and Godfrey.

What have we got to lose? We'r as me 0-9 and so the young players should get as much experience as possible

Especially with Miller out, could be his chance to show himself at CHF?

Having him out on the field for the first time in 10 months is going to inspire the boys believe me.

An underdone Roo is extremely dangerous, just ask Collingwood. It's not just him though, it's the fact that the entire side shifts to the next gear when Roo is playing. Will be a cracking contest imo.
Last year he suffered from "slapped cheek" and on Saturday Bell will give him some more around his wrinkly old arse.

Not a fan of Wheatley.

Why would we drop Dunn when Miller is out? Surely this gives him a chance to play centre half forward, or at least share the role with Bate as well. Keep Neitz and Robertson close to the goalsquare and let these youngsters do all the running from half forward. Bruce and Green will effectively play as onballers anyway, it isn't as if we can't fit Dunn into the forward line.

Great to see Sylvia and Bate in, really like the look of that forward line (though it could use Davey). The backline however... Well at least it will be a good experience for Frawley and Petterd.

That is the best thing you can say about the back line isn't it, I think Petterd will play forward this week, or at least start the game there. I can't figure out the backline matchups.

Probably Bell - Roo
I'd prefer Carroll on Welsh but he'll probably get Perrie
Leaving Wheatley to play on Welsh and I think Bizzel will get Bock.
Frawley is an option but it would be tough to play him on one of those players. Hopefully Roo only plays 50% and Bell can take Welsh. We definitely need to be on top in the midfield with our backline as it is.
Rain would be a plus:D

i'm pretty happy with the set up, Adelaide don't really have the power forwards, but are still dangerous enough, i know welsh and perrie have done well against us before. hopefully though they can continue to generate the run like last weeks last quarter. loved Belly's work, needs to be unleashed more i think.

Lets home that the leadup CHF combination of Bate and Sylvia works a treat like it did vs the bulldogs.

Hopefully Wheatley will be doing the kick ins, freeing TJ to receive some of them and drive forward, rather than have TJ kick them to Brown/Ward who dither around then turn it over with their consumate skills.

Not a fan of Wheatley.

Why would we drop Dunn when Miller is out?

Because he is young and we can't play young players, we might not win... so we keep playing the old players.

Daniher isn't interested in developing the club... he knows he won't be there next year and spent the previous three years trying to secure his job.
