One for the petrolheads or for the lovers of classic cars.
As I stated in another thread, I am a holden man. I have owned fords in my lifetime, but found them unreliable and constantly breaking down compared to my Holdens I have owned.
I wish to at least own another EH Holden again. I grew up with the EH's as my Dad owned one when I was a kid as well as when I was in my early teens I had one that I did up a little and had many a girlfriend sitting next to me on the old bench front seats.
I have stated to my wife that I plan on owning another one before I get too old.

Holden by a very long mile.
Ford.
I come from a ford family, I have great memories of my grandad's old V8 Fairlane with the leather interior, that he only brought out for special occasions.
Many have tried to convert me to holden, but they have always failed :p

I'd rather a Subaru WRX or a Mitsubishi Evolution ahead of those, but if I do like the new V8 Holdens ahead of the Fords.
But please make them a little louder so they actually sound like a V8.

Yeah i find i'm not getting enough approving and envious glances when i'm doing my bog laps, and i'm not picking up enough chicks.......
bogan much?
Ford by a mile. Although I seem to like the old fords better than old holdens, and new holdens better than new fords.
I actually own a 1968 XT Fairmont with a 302 windsor engine and 12 slotter rims.

I actually appreciate a nice sounding car and/or a car that actually can handle well. That is possible without being a bogan you know?
Unlike the ****sticks that seem to want to redline their shitbox vn/vp's and cut skids at every opportunity.

Classy.
You have a good eye for the old girls. I used to own a XV with a 6 in it. Had extractors and twin pipes attached to her and people used to swear there was an 8 under her when they heart the car.
Miss that old girl.

Please excuse my ignorance, these are my favourite cars but an XV? I just havent heard of one before. I know the XW-XY shape, XR-XT, XL through XP, and the more coupe styled XA-XC, then the 80's styled XD-XF, but you have lost me with an XV?
BTW GoldenBlue thanks for the compliment, the cars only ever had two owners, me being the second, so it's in nice nick, apart from the green interior that came standard in the 68 Fairmonts, although that is being customed in the very near future. Who said 21 year old's don't appreciate cars?

Yeah. There 5 year old Falcon is nearly as good as the new commodore.
Cant wait for the orion falcon and for Fords global plans. It should help for Ford Aus like GM's global plans helped GM Holden.

Despite being a Holden girl, the XR6/XR8's utes or/and sedans are pretty damn sexy.
