Another fairly comfortable win for the dogs last night is anyone going to be able to stop them from going three in a row.

my tip....no. I reckon if they lose two games this year it will be dissapointing. They are seriously a step ahead of everyone else in the competition. Actually if the game was televised last night id say about 14 centrals players would be up on reports but thats not important.
I think Bomber Thompson, Terry Wallace and Rodney eade should take note of Centrals and how they play the flood. If one of those AFL teams could play the flood that well they would win the premiership. They flood back and just run in numbers, they are quick and too skillful and play the flood 100% perfectly.
It would take the biggest choke in SANFL history for Centrals to lose the premiership this year.

I have tipped Port, however I am a bit wary.. perhaps it is more in hope that Centrals are stoppable.
Sturt have been pretty impressive so far, all big wins against quality opposition. It will be very interesting when the Blues take on Centrals, as I beleive the winner of this game will be the benchmark for all other teams.

noone will beat Centrals this year, I reckon they could beat the Western Bulldogs at the moment, I was actually a bit suprised Port got as close as they did.

Port only lost by 5 or 6 goals but we kicked 5 unanswered goals in the last quarter. The scoreboard really flattered us in the end. A fitting result would of been a 75-90 point loss

How many of the current Centrals players do you think could be on AFL lists. I mean the Gowans boys dominate each week, Macgowan is past his best but probably could have played at the highest level. Daniel Healy also probably deserved more of a chance with the saints.
IMO Hopwood, Slade, Bello and Graham are all worthy, Central also have plenty of other AFL listed players and/or duds such as Steinberner, M.Stevens, Arnott and Switala playing at the moment.

Do you reckon maybe Slade and Bello have been overlooked because they are possibly to small. How old is Hopwood has he been a later developer.

I would like to think that we are unbeatable...but you can't really say that.
I think that our biggest test will be against Sturt in Round 6, because I reckon we will probably beat the Eagles and the Blues will beat Glenelg on Unley Oval.
And Macca...where were you on Friday?

I think Slade is overrated. I dont think he would succeed at afl level. Marco Bello...you can thank Port Power that he is at Centrals!! He sent a tape to the Power back in 98 or whenever...and Port forwarded the tape to Centrals and recommended they get him. He is a good player but i dont think he is AFL standard. Sorta like a Danny Morton. He'd do ok at AFL level but probably wouldnt do enough to get a regular game.
I think the players that could go well at AFL level would be the two Gowans brothers...they were unlucky they were at ST Kilda while Harvey/Burke/Brown/Jones etc were there at the same time. I think Chris is better than James. Both would be regular contributors at AFL level in the 6-16 placed teams i reckon. Heath Hopwood is another who would make it at AFL level. Adam Switala had a go at Essendon, but with that midfield he was never going to get a go....he is a class player and would make the starting midfield of about 5 or 6 AFL teams. Quinton Graham....i wished two years ago this guy was drafted by Port...i reckon he is a star.
It is doubtful any of them will get a go tho with the AFL recruiters reluctance to draft anyone over 20....or if they do draft someone over 20 they are usually ready made AFL players already like Paul Hudson, Wade Chapman etc.
