I voted before reading mate.

PS. Whats Lloyd leading this vote count for. I didn't see the option of "Who will take a pathetic dive and pull the stupidist facial expression to the umpire pleading for a free?''

That would be Brett Kirk, all alone

Everytime LLoyd has played this year Essendon has won, and when he hasn't they have lost. He certainly gets my vote.

Anzac Day he was taken care off pretty well after kicking the first two goals. One being the sofest free that only Lloyd will get paid.

I think Sydney they have a backmen in Barry a Midfielder in Kirk & a star forward in Hall!.

Chris Judd - Not a strong looking field ATM though...

Guys like Mark Ricciuto, Nathan Buckley and Warren Tredrea have been good captains for a long time, but recent injury issues have seen their ability to lead slip a bit.

Brad Johnson and David Neitz are close seconds to Chris Judd.

I voted for Roo. But in all seriousness I think Davdi Neitz deserves more than 2 votes. I know the dees haven't had the on field success to brag on about but which captain actually have? Anyway perfect example of him has been the last 2 weeks. Last week kicking that 60m bomb to confirm our first win and the week before kicking 3 last quarter goals to give us a sniff against the kangas.

I chose buckley but i think Roo is the best. When he does something awesome like bomb a goal from 60 or take someone out the whole team just lifts a gear.

Why is Chris Judd leading this poll? Because he is the best player in the best team? That is a totally flawed arguement!!

If Judd was this great captain, why is his club a shambles off the field?? Remember, a captain's job is not confined to 2 hours on a weekend.

I'm not sure he's even that. If WC lost Judd, sure they'd notice it, but would it be as noticeable if/when they lost Cox or Kerr? I rate Cox the best ruckman/clearance player in the comp and Kerr the best genuine midfielder. They, to me, are the anchors at WC, not Judd. He, again to me, is more the icing on the cake.

Vandenberg has all the captain qualities, not the most talented player though

bucks if he played this season

I reckon Buckley. Judd is a great player when he's on song but a piss weak captain. The guy has got nothing on Cousins when it comes to leading his troops on the field.

True. He can lead the great pies to a win and really is a true captain. he is never in the news for the wrong reasons... which i would like to also add... James hird is great aswell
