Im not sure this is worthy of its own thread but its just something ive noticed many times. who decides on the "best" players from a game in the afl.com.au articles. take a look at this brilliant journalism:
http://afl.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsArticle/tabid/208/Default.aspx?newsId=44252
The Lions did well to dominate most of the game given they got only moderate games from key forward Jonathan Brown and star midfielder Simon Black, who was well held by Daniel Jackson
yet at the bottom of the article:
BEST
Richmond: Bowden, Foley, Richardson, Jackson, Johnson, Tambling
Brisbane Lions: Drummond, Adcock, Lappin, Patfull, Brown, Stiller, Clark, Black
i spose this is kind of picky but i notice it pretty often, why report a football game if you are going to embaress yourself.
