im not saying i think he will get it or nothing even close to that, but he wouldnt be too far off right now would he? at least 2 BOG performances and a few others were he would get 2 or 1 votes... if judd/bartel/chad cornes get reported and lose form, and hird continues his great form from the last month can he possibly win it? a lot of ifs there but there is always hope... judd would get votes taken from him by kerr and other eagles, hopefully bartel gets reported :D and with a bit of luck he could be close

Well Judd had a shocker, Cornes is playing poorly ATM, and Hird should get a vote from last night. He might be a chance. Fletcher, Lucas and McPhee might take votes off him though. They have also been in the votes for sure. The other thing is that we need to keep winning.

very very unlikely.

But can you imagine? :D Has any reigning Brownlow medallist retired before?

Well if he did, he couldnt be accused of having the Brownlow Blues!

Our very own Graham Moss.

He didn't retire as such, but went home straight after winning the Brownlow.

Well they were saying last night that he is playing better statisically than he ever has. can they convince him to go on again, i reckon highly unlikely but gees if he keeps going on the way he has been who no's maybe finish 3rd 4th in the charlie. average over 20 possie's every game

If he continues, I just hope it is because he thinks we are a chance for a flag, not just because he is playing well

Let's not make mention of this 'til Brownlow Night. 'Cos hopefully he'd have 1 more game to go 'til retirement. ;)

Well, in my perspective, he has already BOG's against

Rd 8 Vs Brisbane
Rd 9 Vs Richmond

He would have also got 1-2 votes against

Rd 3 Vs Carlton
Rd 7 Vs Roos
Rd 10 Vs Swans

Any thoughts ?

He's just as likely not to get a vote against Richmond as he is to get one.

Yeah I don't think he'll get one against the Tigers. One at the most

Cornes is playing poorly ATM

You reckon? Was quiet against Sydney but he has been top 5 nearly every other game. Is in great form.

At the moment I think it is a race between Judd, Bartel and Cornes.

I'm doing a Champion Data Brownlow thing, where the top 3 get 3-2-1 respectively, and this is the top 10.

Bartel 14
Fletcher 12
Kerr 12
C.Cornes 12
Judd 9
Black 9
Mitchell 9
Lucas 9
Pavlich 8
H.Shaw 8
B.Harvey 8
West 8
Adcock 8

While obviously not going to be accurate, think it is a pretty good reflection of who is going to be thereabouts this year. For what it's worth, Hird has 3 votes for his BOG against Brisbane.

I was talking about his form at that stage of the match against Hawthorn. Obviously he is a chance for the b/low. In fact if it isnt an Essendon players, I hope it is between him and Bartel.

He could very well have polled between 7-9 votes over the last 3 weeks.
