After the Crows lost to Melbourne I thought it was very quiet here yesterday from the Port Power fans. They must have been worried about the Hawthorn assualt today and wanted to hold back unless they fluked a win against them today.
They will stay in hiding now, actually many of them might already be home cos I saw plenty leaving early during that last quarter.
Looks like they spent last night worrying about the hawks rather than coming onto bay 13

THey lost to 4th on the ladder. You lost to 15th. Tad difference there.
Were both losers this week, but at least we didnt hand a winless team their frist win of the season ;)

To be fair, Melbourne are a hell of a lot better than their ladder position suggests and were playing at home.
I think that the cat is well and truly out of the bag now about both Port and Hawthorn though. Port are a fraudulent football team that caught a couple of other sides out early because they were up and running sooner. Their youngsters are overrated and their supposed superstars are largely overrated front runners, Tredrea is finished as an AFL footballer. Chad Cornes is their only true champion. They have a group of dim witted and feral fans that blindly follow a club that has a chip on both shoulders.
Hawthorn, on the other hand have at their disposal a deep and free wheeling midfield, a core group of blue chip youngsters and mobility and size in their forward line. They have bona fide superstars such as Mitchell and Hodge that run the show and a Brownlow medallist that is still able to run the legs off all comers. Their fans have been patient and are now seeing the fruits of the rebuild that the club has undertaken over the past couple of seasons.
Port's few intelligent fans will not turn up here this week and nor should they. Their club, over the past three weeks has been shown up for the joke that it is. They conned a few over the first month of the season but the jig is up now and one hopes that the goon show that has inhabited this forum over the past couple of months will be absent for a while.

In all seriousness it was a poor performance, but im not sure what the relevance is of being on Bay 13 last night.

At least we havent lost three in a row (and two in a row at home) and lost a game of such importance to the coach. You would have thought they would have wanted to win the game for choco considering the week he has had and the fact that he went out there to coach the side today.
The Shaun Burgoyne phenomenon is over better than judd hahahahahahahaha more like a 5 week wonder.

Not to mention the fact that he was coaching against his ex-assistant coach who had stabbed the team in the back after leaving by exposing the chasmic rift between Primus and Tredrea and how the entire team disliked Tredrea. :)
