I've never liked teams that say they are going to win the premiership in their songs. All talk. It would be embarassing to sing when you win like 4 games for the year.
The Kangaroos do it too don't they?

Problem is, when the song was written we had a decent amount of premiership wins, also the term 'cakewalk' came from an African-American dance of the time. I guess it could be worse, we could be flying high, or flying up to win the premiership flag, or we could be the pride of South Australia.;)

I would reckon brisbanes effort last night was truely worth the bears and fiztrory of the early 1990's
