After all another 2 more wins for you guys and we get pick 1. :thumbsu:

Would like to say it is great seeing the Blues win a tight game of footy and hopefully it will give them confidence to win more of them in the latter part of the season.

That's OK. You will waste the pick anyway. Enjoy it and being at the arse end of the ladder for next 10 years.

And you'd know all about being the ass end of the ladder, wouldn't ya?

How does it feel?

Yeah, it wasn't fun. But you have fun down there with Melbourne. Don't worry St Kilda and the Bulldogs will be down shortly to hang with you.

As for the Blues, we are on the way to the top half of the ladder. You can use us the model for your future success if you like.

Don't want to win it at all but if we are going to then I would prefer they get Pick 1 for doing so rather than a club getting it for being crap over an extended period (see Carlton).

Lucky the AFL didn't make the PP rule retrospective - Richmond would be entitled to about 25 number 1 picks...

Similar to How Carlton butchered pick 4 in the 05 draft and left the two best players of that draft fall to picks 5 and 7?

At least finishing on the bottom they get something finishing 9th-14th they'll pretty much get jack shit. At least that is my theory on the reason for wanting to finish on the bottom.

Damn straight. If its our destiny to have a shit year, lets make sure we do it properly and reap the full benefit of the AFL's current rewards scheme for shit teams (no 1 draft + priority and no 1 PSD pick).

Who knows, maybe we WILL end up rising like Carlton, but without the seemingly endless streams of wooden spoons they've won recently...

One thing that should be said that in most of the games this year by Richmond they haven't played really that badly for the full game, against Collingwood they were out playing and out classing us early and then just died in the ass, which is something that has happened more then once this season.

I am excluding the Geelong game, as we all know you were just shit, and well that needs not to be harped on. Seven mentioned that maybe there was a fitness issue with the Tigers which is why they couldn't finish off Collingwood at the time..looking at the way we have played this season we have looked to take the game back in the 3rd Quarter, we tried our best to steal the Eagles came but failed in it.

But no offense intended to the Tigers fans, or the players, but I am not sure where you are going to pull a win from, I thought against the Lions, and especially the Bombers you were going to take the points but then saw them end one in a draw, and the other well...let's not mention it.

But prior to that Richmond should not have let the Bombers back into the game, this doesn't excuse the way it ended but just explains how you got there..I guess.

So you think clubs like west coast, Adelaide, Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Sydney have jack shit players?
