Do you think we will try and rough him up a bit? Was at the after match function yesterday and Clarko, Browny and Hodgey were talking about next week and the crowd kept bringing his name up. Clarko and Browny ignored the comments but Hodgey said we may hit a certain ruckman a little harder then normal. It was just a throw away line by him as that's what the crowd wanted to hear but hopefully we belt the crap out of him:D

HAHAHA Lets hope he punches a ball through after the siren at 3 quarter time that he could have marked and then we win by a point!:thumbsu:

He is actually going to be a threat for us this week. Great tap ruckman. Yes he is a knob but in the games we have lost so far this season the ruck has really been the barometer for our success. Tails and Bob will give it a red hot go but we need to make sure we are sharking Spida's tapouts. I can see us getting slaughtered in the hitouts which worries me.

I actually think big Bob's hardness and tenacity might worry Spida. Expect Bobby to crunch and tackle the crap out of him.

While we're on the topic, am I the only one who thinks Big Bob's upper body has become freakishly huge?

I think this may be what's hindering him this year. To much time in the weights room, sonny!

Is it a coincidence we are now playing winning footy now spider(his culture) has left the club

With our experience wouldn't it be easier for us. We could read his taps easier because we know his tendancies.

Good point, that's why I think he'll only be used in spurts when Mitch and Hodge are resting.

My dark side is looking fwd to hearing the boos, along with hoping he plays a shocker. That said, I dont think we should get sucked into worrying too much about him. Just play the game and stick it up them.
This game is a far bigger barometer to where we are situated than playing WC in Tas and beating a Port side that I dont rate. (DontGMWrong, still great wins!)

Will be interesting to see how many players go to Spida after the game!

Well he didnt leave on good terms did he and its been reported alot of the boys dont rate him as a bloke at all.

End of last year i heard that browny was keen to run through him if the opportunity came up.

However Sydney arent going to take any shit from us and i think this will be the most physical game we've had this year, but one for which we are more than ready, we just need to focus on the ball and play strong attacking footy.

Now you guys know RustyHawk and I will not give away confidential information but he and I both know that at the end of last season Robert Campbell was asked directly how he would feel if Spida was released. Big Bob said it would present no problems to him and he felt he had learned all he could from Spida, or all Spida was prepared to give.

It was not arrogrance from Big Bob, but confidence in his own readiness to step up and a statement of confidence in Big Bob by the club.

I reckon both our ruckmen will go about their game to show Spida how they have come on and how little he is missed. No silly buggers, just performence.

Im sure our rucks in Taylor and Campbell have learned a lot from the academy of ruck weve got at Waverly so Im not worried at all. We smashed Lade last week and hes a All Asutralian ruck so Im not worried at all. Clarko will have a plan.

I think that Spida might be spewing that he left us now that were higher on the ladder then them.:D

You cant teach an old dog new tricks can you??

And the likes of Mitch, Lewis Crawf and hodgey know spida's tricks like the back if their hands...

Everitt is stil dangerous... shouldn't disregard him!

I rekon the clearance battle will win this game. Both teams have a strong forward line at the moment.. sydney's probably have more polish with Bazza, Mickey'O, ROK and DAvis... our forward line is still young but they're performing well together!

lets hope that our mids can get first hands on the ball..

Put Youngy on Malceski, and have Youngy push to the wing, let malceski stick at HBF, i would think youngy's delivery into the forward line from the wing would be more damaging that Malceski's possies off HBF. :)

will be a cracker!

you know what i would like to see though, Sewell on Kirk! have them Tag each other! lol! ;)
