Living in Sydney, this game is as big to me as a Ess vs Haw for certain Melbourne based fans.
Pride is on the line here.

Yes I agree completely !! It is hard work being a non swan supporter up this way. I will love it to read the paper on monday and see the swans crying like they are in todays paper :)
I was at the last hawthorn win up here (2003 form memory) when we won by 1 pt at the SCG at it was awesome ! I love giving it to the swans supporters so hopfully we can win down there on saturday :)
edit/ forgot that we get a long weekend too, woot !!

Fine 9-15 degress in melbourne on saturday, it hink the forecast is for rain on thursday/friday but considering in never rains in melbourne the g should be dry by saturday
Our best hope is for a dry track. We have the speed to run the Swans of their legs, the worst thing that could happen to us is if we are caught on a wet track and are bogged down to their very effective contested game.
They dominate around stoppages so we need to reduce the stoppages where ever possible.
Sydney will come out breathing fire, but for the first time in a very long time, I firmly believe we have the cattle to beat them on an ‘on day’

Once again my quivering hand will be on the mouse over here in Bangkok.
When I get back to Ozz, I'll be at every game for the rest of the season, hopefully, to make up for it :).

HISTORY has no relevance for this crop of kids at the moment. I think they deserve that respect... NO I reckon we will dominate the stoppages... ITS wether we can take care of our opportunities when they present themselves. I say we will prevail.... whatabout YOU?

buddy f looking good , great recovery and snap for his first, kennely looks like hes gone
Good quarter from the boys, our hard running is the difference atm. The younger guys are shining again (McGlynn, Young etc.).
Long, loooong way to go yet, but looking the goods. :thumbsu:
Damn...:( (not much else to say...)

Other positive to me is that we can't get screwed as much by the umpires next week, its unfeasible!!!
We were absolutely RAPED by the umpires today!! I am usually one who doesn't whinge about them, but f*cking hell, today was a disgrace
Fabulous

We learnt that to eventually play and win finals we must learn how to play and create "contest" football with confidence. Sydney simply played man-on-man and stiffled our run. Teams like Sydney and West Coast will never blow us out of the water but they will always beat us on MCG size grounds because they can control the game...as long as we keep playing to Plan A.
that was alright, we went down by a couple of kicks, against one of the best.
I dont like to blame umpiring decisions but that was the single most inconsistant umpiring for 4 quarters I have ever seen!! the bright side is our backline was superb today, our boys can hold their heads high.:thumbsu: while you seedy little maggots in white should be dropped, dropped, dropped:thumbsd:

If Collingwood lose today, would anyone else find it weird that we would move up a spot on the ladder, even though we lost?
