now all we have to do is beat!?
west coast, geelong, port adelaide and collingwood and the records ours!

Not the most convincing still but a good hard fought win.

Have a look at the stats we were flogged iin everything except tackles 60-28 which is great.

Frees were disgusting, those umps, I can't actually say what I think but 10-23 says enough.

A win is a win, but it was a damn frustrating one at that with all those frees. Doggy's put up a fight though, gotta give 'em that.

Seemed to me to be a typical close-checking game from the doggies with lots of flooding (ugh). My admiration for Mal Michael grows every week, some great rebounding efforts last night.

Welcome pride01.

Mal is one of those players that is a quiet achiever. I must admit to fast becoming a fan. Mal sticks to the game plan, without question.

As for the record, one game at a time. I was glad when the siren went last night. It was an ugly game.

BrisGirl, I think you're spot on about it being an ugly game.

As for one week at a time regarding the consecutive wins record, it's hard to not to get exited at the prospect our great team being immortalised (officially) as one of the greatest teams ever by acheiving it.

I am a former Fitzroy fan in Melbourne. I have followed Brisbane Lions since the merger. As sad as losing Fitzroy was, I was very happy with the jumper of the Brisbane Lions. Fitzroy used to have a trainng jumper similar to it, with the lion on the front. I always used to like that jumper so I thought it was a great move to combine this with the maroon geurnsey (Fitzroys original colour and also the Queensland state colour). My grandad still used to refer to Fitzroy as the maroons so I was glad to have it back. Have been following the Lions ever since.

Favourite player is a hard question. I have a soft spot for the former Fitzroy players Lynch, Johnson, Pike and even former Fitzroy fans Power and Brown.

I think we are (B.Lions fans) all very lucky to have the team we have at the moment who are creating AFL history before our eyes. A skillfull and stong mix of players with a great mixture of youth and experience. Let's just hope we can keep them together at the end of the year!

well.....
i am a relatively new lions fan... my first season was 1998.... great year it was too... (NOT)..... so u know.. i just stuck with it... & didnt it pay off last year....

i love my footy,,,,
get along to as many of the reserves games as i can.... i love watching the young guys come through.....

i dont have just one fave player... like yourself......

love pikey.. he will win the b&F this year... i know it.....

i have new jumper...
#7... for Jason Gram as well as
#19 jamie.....
#27.. crackers... as the name may show
#35... morro..... future star

& i have a long sleeve which is yet to get a number,,, so i dunno what to do.... a 4- i think....
so i can have one of each lot...LOL
