Just when you thought every child in Australia had seen Shrek 2 five times, either at the cinema or on DVD, 1.5 million people in the mainland capitals switched on Channel Nine at 8.30 last night to see it, or see it again.
The ogre and the 60 Minuters gave the night to Nine, which attracted 31.5 per cent of the audience between 6pm and midnight, while Seven got 27.8 per cent, Ten got 19.8 per cent, ABC got 15.7, and SBS got 5.2. If this was a State of Origin week, such a start would be enough to give Nine the week, but it isn't, so it won't.

LOL....Real Stories repeat actually beat Rove, the AFL game did great, a high figure in Sydney which is rare and Shrek 2 cleared the 1.5mil mark, the Lost Tribes doesn't deserve more then a Million and another note on Sunday night is Seven had a great figure in Melbourne, it doesn't seem to do well during the week in Melbourne (compared to Nine) but a 508k is encouraging.

Disappointing figure for Ch.7, they usually romp home on Tuesdays so we will see if Nine can stop the onslaught.
Despos was down, whilst Eddie was up (unfortunately)........and it seems official that the idiots in Vic (not me of course) are the ones saving Ch.Nein from some woeful figures.

The Nation's first ep is on tonight, i'm not sure if it will last, but i guess Nine have to try something against Ch.7's power Tuesday line-up.

Very interesting, that rating is higher then most Family Feud ratings i've seen, they hovered around the 600-700k mark.

Although it doesn't seem to have increased Nine news' audience that much.

Seven romped home last night and 'The Nation' didn't do great, Seven will hope it stays on ;)
Just read it lost to Ten's 'Numbers', lol, now that is bad, i give it 3 weeks.

Seven news rose quite a bit whereas Nine didn't do much at all.....

It seems Melbounre licks Spicks and Specks whilst Sydney likes the Chaser...odd that.......anyway, has anyone noticed how Nein news in Melbourne is now labelled "Melbournes Best" instead of "Number 1 in Melbourne" :D:D

How weird, i noticed it one night they suddenly lost the title and now are 'Melbournes Best', thats rich.

:D:D:D ^^ geez the Catch-up is a bad show....and finally Antiques Roadshow is showing what it will be getting as an average (you'd think) in the weeks to come.....although it is a good show.

Ralph TV dipped dramatically for Nine, especially in Melbourne, they got 372k for the Footy show and only 98k stayed on....

Scooby-Doo failed for Nine, they still won the night but not by enough, seems a recurring thing nowadays.

The AFL game did well last night without the Sydney audience (which isn't much anyway).

I don't know why they show it live into Brisbane, stupid reall, they should have it on a half hour delay to maximise crowds.
