Assuming that Croad isn't fit enough for this weekend, could we see the return of ZAC?!
I don't think we can play Jacobs on him - and Gilham would get killed if matched up on him.
Campbell Brown could find himself on O'Keefe, whilst Gilham could match up on MickeyO.
But ... Barry Hall?!

Do we have to, he is the most over rated player in the comp. Plays at games plus a year at the SCG yet only kicks 50-60 goals. And he is meant to be a 'dominant' forward. He had about 3 kicks on the weekend.
p.s. hope this post doesnt come back to bite
I would much rather ask how they will matchup on our forward line of Franklin, Boyle and Roughead ? :D

If Croad is out then they should bring in Dawson. Don't like the match up on Barry though, the new rules might give him a chance as Barry will be reluctant to push him out. It would be great if Zac was able to come in and do the job, he has apparently improved and earnt his chance.
They could bring in Murphy though and play him on Micky and give Gillam a shot at Barry with Jacobs playing in front. Either way I think we will play a similar style to Essondon and push alot of numbers back and try and hurt them on the rebound.
According to the Age this morning, Croad and Ladson are expected to play this week.
If Croad is out, play Gilham on Hall?

I hope they bring in Renouf. Renouf is our CHB in waiting and should get his chance if Croady is injured.

Agreed. With Jacobs as back-up.
Jacobs is a terrible DEFENDER he'd get killed if he were on Barry. If Craod is back he'll do just fine i think the matchups should be interesting and suit us if croad's back. Gilham to Micky O cos he plays deep in the forward line. Browny to O'Keefe awesome match up and IF Croady doesn't play i'd bring Murphy in and give him a go. I wouldn't trust Jacobs (can't defend) or Gilham (to much ground to cover.

Croad take Barry, plus Jacobs to lend a hand.
Gilham on Mickey.
Brown on O'Keefe.
Sounds simple enough, right?
who will they have to take on boyle and fraknlin, i think leo on franklin and kenelly on boyle, zac will get thrown around like a rag doll if he plays on bucanan let alone bary hall. I think roughy will do the job ok if he teams up mwith gilly or the man wall in tayler, when not in the ruck, besides , they wont be able to match our midfield, these days it about delivery, if we limit their supply into thier forwd line and move it quickly sideways around the ground they wont keep up, they were nacked last week against the scum, wait till they face the fittest team in the comp.

Too bad Campbell is such a good ruckman (there is so much wrong with that sentence...it is not bad at all that he is good...but I digress). I thought he did a very good job on Hall last year. Hall kicked 4, but I think 3 were a direct result of nothing free kicks, bad defensive pressure further up the field and pure dumb luck.
We really need someone with pace and strength to go on him - which is good old Trent. Hope the injury doesn't keep him out.
I think Croad can do a good job on Hally. I think we might actually let Brown get Mickey O. I think O'loughlin may abit to agile for Gilham.

My concern is that Sydney will attempt to expose our lack of height in defence by resting or flat out playing Spida and Jolly in the forward line.
In order to combat this, I believe Zac may be in the mix.

They do tend to play both rucks at time, but bomb on them and with the hopes DJ plays loose we should be able to get numbers to the ball by then.
