Looks likely that Wheels and Rivers could return against the Pies. Moloney appears to be way off as he is struggling with his groin again, sincerely hope this doesn't turn out to be a repeat of 06 for him. Yze is a better chance to return against the Pies than Brent is, that's for sure. The long break should help him get up.

Aaron looks as though he twisted a knee somewhat and you'd expect he'd be in some doubt but there is some optimism surrounding it, he had scans today IIRC. Miller is also a chance to return after his 'wrist' injury. Probably saluting the general in the shower or something. Looks like Dunn got through the Sandy match unscathed and got a bag of goals as did Newton who should come in sooner rather than later. At this stage it would be hard to drop some blokes after the win against the Crows but there is some serious talent we can welcome back.

For the Pies, it appears their golden boy Heath Shaw has a bit of a corkie but you'd assume the 10 day break for them will help him get up for the game. Presti is also in some doubt after aggravating a foot injury though he played out the match against Freo. Buckley is unlikely to play for all reports, but a lot can happen in 10 days. Clement however is due to come back into the side as is Licuria

By the sounds of things, both teams should have some quality players back. Looking forward to this game - should be a cracker!

Yaha. I personally don't expect Rivers to play for us or Bucks for you guys, but I'd love Yze and Whelan back. And it's a shame about Shaw. Don't mind that kid at all.

Hopefully Whelan and Rivers are right and Collingwood plays Clement, Licuria, Shaw and Presti and they struggle and Buckley isn't 100%

I think it's dependent on who needs to win this match more. Of course in a perfect world every team would want to win every match they play however it looks as though our season is relatively shot and Collingwood need to maintain their good run for the finals. That being said, I believe we'll go into the match with more confidence than the Pies, hopefully not rushing back players whereas the Pies might be their own worst enemy when it comes to Monday

That was a rumour denied by Chris Fagan, I doubt he will be back this week though, hope he is though. :thumbsu:

Albeit not an injury, Didak is up for a one week suspension which would be more than handy come Monday if he does not take the field. If so we can hope Wheels can return and kick the shit out of the little maggot...Although Bell putting him head first into the ground a la Welsh would be quite a pleasing sight as well.

Matthew Bate - Our new CHF, take a holiday Bradley!

Wouldn't want to mess with the lineup too much, but if whelan is fit, bring him back for ward. And perhaps Yze for frawley/brown, though neither really deserve to be dropped but i would like to see yze back for QB as he usually tears it up.

Confirmed that Flash has no serious knee injury, cleared of any serious damage so very likely to take the field against the Pies

What was deemed hamstring soreness became, over a fortnight, back-related hamstring and now is a groin strain. Who knows.
