No doubt Geelong are the best team at the moment, playing great attacking footy, have their stars up and firing and are very well coached at the moment.

However now that the media have done their annual "Will the AFL community finally take notice of Geelong" speal...this could spell danger for the cats.

Geelong:

The real deal or are we waiting for the annual collapse?

I think they're the real deal. They have an improved gameplan, a very good list with good depth, and a bunch of blokes working hard for each other.

A number of their players (think Bartel, N.Ablett, Wocjinski) have really stepped up. The seeming decline and disappointment of teams like Sydney, Fremantle, St. Kilda and the Bulldogs has given Geelong a prime opportunity to finish top four. Where they go from there remains to be seen, but Geelong is as good a chance of anyone outside the Eagles of going all the way.
