What do you reckon guys, if he does who would he play on?
I'd say that he'd keep his spot for the game against West Coast.. after that, who knows?
You're only as good as your last game.

I don't think so, He's only good for tagging Goodes. I wouldn't be that fussed if he kept his spot, i'd just rather other player's to get a run ahead of him.

He will keep his spot, if he isnt suspended.

Suspended for what? Did he get cited for the hit on Malceski?

Nah, he ran into Scott mcLaren. Apparantly there is some precedent where some one else got suspended for a similar hit. He should be ok though.

Yep, on form he's earnt it. Plus there's no-one else really banging for a spot at present.

Yes, he deserves it.
Plus there's no one better at the moment to take his place.

No.
If we are serious about winning then we should be playing a horses for courses policy.
But I think after a few good weeks of coaching Sheeds will fall into the sentiment trap and make another critical mistake.
He has had 10 years at the club without doing much apart from a few good games on Goodes.
He can't be relied on to play two decent games in a row and we'll get more benefit by playing others.

well said Kelvin. This was always going to be the problem, probably lucky to be picked on his VFL form and now he has done ok.
If he went crap we could have dropped him never to be seen again but he did well and on performance should not be dropped.
Proved 1 thing to me and that is that the 3rd tall forward can work so maybe work giving kep a go at playing similar role of half forward as to what bolton did. Handy to have that 3rd tall when lloyd or lucas dont have a great game

i will be annoyed if he gets ommitted... first there is no-one currently really pushing for selection, kepler is probably the closest. everyone else havent been killing it in the VFL...
plus i dont like dropping players unless they deserve it. i know bolton will probably play another poor one this weekend but for now he deserves to keep his spot, i mean dominating the reigning brownlow medallist and kickign 2 goals of your own is a good effort... maybe he could be used forward as a defensive role like welsh... eagles do have quite a few playmakers from their back half..
i would drop bolton if there was someone who has earnt a spot but for me no-one has... houli and nash should be dropped before bolton anyway and i dont want to make 3 changes to a team that put in such a good effort on the weekend

he kept his spot after anzac day didnt he? and he played poorly that day.
my bet is yes, but not for long.
Yes, He keeps his spot this week. He needs to be used to our advantage like last week though. Using him to our advantage is the difficult part.

He wasn't too bad on ANZAC Day. He didn't get a lot of it but he did an okay job on Swan (21 touches) and he kicked an important goal.

Give him this spot this week. You are only as good as the game you just played.
Do you guys actually know anything about footy? He has done his job every time he's been asked and was amongst our best handful on the weekend. Bolton would have to be the most underrated player in the league if even his own numbnut fans are bagging him. If he gets dropped there would want to be 15 other changes to justify it.

Keeping Swan to 21 has shown to be a good effort and lets not forget he kicked a goal and should have been played a mark in the goal square but it was taken off him so should have had two.

The mark was from a clear push in the back, there was no way he should've been paid that mark.
