It seems every win we have had this year the "media" attach an asterix to it. The theme this week was Pav's points and yet Daisy missed four shots and Travis a couple that were all easier than Pav's and yet there was no mention of this in the post game analysis. If you count these missed shots that would render the "If Pav had kicked straight the Dockers would have won point mute" I don't count Tazza's points for obvious reasons.

Agreed, they harped on this point on the couch last night 2. The fact of the matter is Freo were run off there feet and couldn't cope with the pressure the pies were putting on them.

I say let em keep it up as no matter what they say coaches still take notice of the media and they will keep underestimating us. Thomas should have dead set kicked at least 3 goals! hard worker every minute.
pav is a star and that's why he gets all the media hype. trav cloke has been missing since he was born but not much coming up about him. it's just another of tarrant last year. any player who has or is close to the star status cops a lot of shit at any shortcomings despite the fact that they are generally not the only ones that have the problem. all year we have struggled to kick straight and then the one match where we kick relatively straight all that is shown is the inaccuracy of the opponent. there is always something....

To be honest Pavlich and Rocca combined kicked us to a win. Our kicking has cost us this year and we got one back. We were pretty lucky that Pavlich didn’t murder us again. Of course he should be ours but that’s another story of incompetency entirely.

Swan ran us to a win. The misses by Thomas and Cloke negated Pavlich's misses.
At the end of the day the difference was midfield domination after half time, led by Dane Swan.
The big deal is that Pavlich is usually a very good kick. Friday night was his worst night in front of goals in his career and we were lucky that it came against us becasue the reality is that if his accurate was even slightly better we most probably would have lost the game.
