Where's the "When they don't make finals this year" option?

I think blaming Lyon is a bit unfair. The Saints had been the AFL's basket-case for much of the past 100 years, and after a decade or so of relentless AFL handouts, and then wave after wave of top draft picks, the Saints eventually dragged themselves off the bottom of the ladder. Buttress and his mate Thomas sat back and lapped up all the AFL handouts. Despite the amazing number of top-draft picks, GT still managed to stuff up the Saints list management, because of his complete lack of knowledge on how to develop younger players, and trading away his surplus draft picks. Lyon has been left with a bit of a list disaster, loaded with near retirement age oldies. It's almost as though the Saints don't know how to be successful, and look destined to return to their customary bottom spot and basket-case status. :)

I dont think you could put Matthews, Sheedy, Roo and Woosha in charge of saints and make them sucessful, its like trying to change the tides

Why on earth would St Kilda sack him then? St Kilda only ever sack good coaches and that would make him a bad coach. I'm surprised so many people think St Kilda would sack him if they won the wooden spoon.

Can you get the sack for having no personality at all?
