After 5 rounds of footy who are the stand out's from the junior ranks this season across the 3 divions in the older age groups.

Would be interested to hear people's opinions of who we have to look out for in the future years

Josh Stavely.

has been in the best 4 out of 5 times for epping and is absolutely dominating.

he tried for knights for the last 2 years but they cut him both times cos they said hes too small. hes now up to 177cm and will most likely reach 180cm and he bulked up heaps.

hes a class above all the other midfielders.

Coming towards the business end of the season. Any ideas on which sides cold bring home the bacon in the 17's divisions? Diamo look far to good in Div 1. Whilst Div. 2 is gonna be close. Yarrambat hitting some form knocking off undefeated Whittlesea on the weekend... Also any ideas on B&F's?

Said here a couple of months ago the diamo seventeens would go close to winning two flags. Well we took out the main one yesterday. Division one. As for the twos, well they made the finals (beating every team in the comp, including some firsts teams) and considering the run of injuries and some stupid NFL fixturing and decisions that baffled me, was a very good effort. a better group of boys u will not find.

lol well u beat North Heidleberg then they are a good div 2 team that were better and the game we played first against West lalor we only had 4 of our best 8 playing n still just lost by a point

Mick Malone of Epping 2nd side is a big improver this year playing in the 16s or 17s not exactly sure which but has shown alot of good maturing his year and has alot of potential to go further
