Blue Light South Australia Celebrates 25 Years
Blue Light is celebrating 25 years. To kick start a great year of events a huge Disco will be held at The Crows Shed, Brebner Dve West Lakes on Tuesday 10 July between 7 pm and 10.30 pm for young people aged between 10 – 17 years. There will be lots of prizes and giveaways. The DJ for the night is Fish the Fatman with performances from 2 top youth bands - Granny Flat and Steel Tiger. Crows players will be there too, so come along and get your favourite player's autograph.
Parents can be ensured that it is a 'lock-in' event and no alcohol, drugs or cigarettes are permitted.
Tickets are available at the door for $6. There is also a $10 value pack ticket available which includes entry, a can of drink, a packet of chips and a special promotional item. The $10 value pack is only available by pre purchasing tickets before the night.
Tickets can be purchased before the big event at various locations, ring 08 8204 2205 for your nearest location.

Went to one of these a couple of years back i think. Was okay, but as a 16/17 year old i enjoyed backyard piss ups more than Blue lights.

The parks? jeez, i have friends that grew up in that area and it is feral central. Worst place to have a Blue light - it goes against the no grog and no drugs policy.
Only fun thing about blue lights is trying to hang around and pick up the ones coming out...

damn I miss the cut off by 2 years!....but seriously what other than crows players being there would convince you to go!, it'd be like your old school disco with people you don't know and half the people will sit down for the entire night!
maybe we should have a 18-26 one then maybe and call it club crows you may get a few people on here to rock up!

you're missing the point - it's a BLUE LIGHT DISCO......by it's very nature - it is made for people who have not experienced their "old school disco" yet.

A few of my friends and I are going and they don't follow footy. They're coming to have fun and dance :thumbsu: If it's like the one a few years back, then it should be good.

I've managed to live my life without being able to drink alcohol. Hasn't stopped me from tearing it up on the dancefloor and having a bit of fun.

I actually went along to a bunch of dance classes sober with a sheila I was desperately trying to get into the pants of and I'm not afraid to admit I had fun.
I had more fun later on in the evening, but the classes themselves weren't that bad.
If I were a young lad I'd definately be hitting up these discos, because it's pretty well an 80/20 split of girls and boys everywhere where dancing is on the menu but booze isn't, and most of the competition is gay anyway :thumbsu:

Only prob though was that i think there was more drugs and drinking going on...and with what was going on inside!!!!!!!!
