i was real impressed with him a few years ago, was looking like becoming a good FB strong, steady and reliable but injuries has now haulted his carrear but not finished it IMO. i would be intrested in getting him to our club. i think he would be mid 20s and Michael and Fletcher although hopefully still with a few years in them won't be around forever.
If he gets himself right he could release Paddy into the ruck with Hille who is needing help (although i still hold hope for Laycock who is struggling).
also i realise we got blokes like Neagle Lee(is struggling this yr) and Johns (looks like he is being groomed as a defender) in the wings. with injuries and form its always good to have reinforcement's.
if we could get him cheap, maybe for a 3rd round if we finish top 6 (which is going to be hard) or a forth round i would be willing to give it up.
another option i could see is hadrill and a 3rd rounder for Kepler who can't play defence and is not accurate enough for a forward and is a long way down the peccing order ( Lloyd and Lucas are not as old as Michael and Fletch also you have Gumbleton, where as Johns and Neagle who could probaly swing both ways, and Laycock could go alright as a full time forward who pinch hits in the ruck).

thoughts people?
Hopefully Daniher can fill one of the KPP positions in the future as well

Not a bad idea, I too was impressed with him. But that was over a couple of years ago and he has hardly been sighted since. Seems to pick up an injury after stepping over the white line. I think it would a bit too risky a move to get someone that injury prone to the club. Maybe if he plays a few games towards the end of this season

He looked like he was going to be a very good fb but seems to be over taken to some fairly good players like McPharlin,Grover, Johnson and always seems injured.

I can't see them giving up on Kepler any time soon un-less they get the a very good offer for him. Bolton had 10 years at Essendon

he would be our first choice full back if it wasnt for all his injuries

i doubt any club would take him.its either freo or retirement

If we were looking to recruit a Full-Back I would be in favour of young Alipate Carlile over at Port Adelaide. Port have many tall defenders with of which many are young including Chaplin, Pettigrew, Thurstans, Willits, Wakelin and Chad Cornes. Carlile would be very gettable.

For those of you who don't know much about him, he's 192cm and 94kg and a pure Full-Back in nature. He's only 19 and was taken with pick 44 in last year's draft. He's Fijian and is cousin to David Rodan. He's originally Victorian and grew up a Bomber supporter. Modelled his game on Mal Michael and Matthew Scarlett.

I really rate the guy strong in a contest and nor overly slow either. He's got good size about and at 19, is worth the risk in my opinion. Port probably wouldn't have a big asking price either.
