Heard Daniher on SEN saying both Travis and Davey will be named.
I'd be surprised if Davey plays. I just don't think any injury to a knee where a player is forced off the ground can come good in such a short space of time. I reckon the same old thing will happen where Davey is named but is replaced in the side on match day. Too good a player to put at risk by rushing him back.

Two swans came off the ground with knees when we played them, and Tagh Kennelly was tho only one who missed weeks of footy. also we've got a nine day break. May not play but i'm looking for positives here.

Depends on whether there is any structural damage. If it was jarred/hyperextended, he should play, if there's a strain he might play, but a tear he won't.

Both are playing. Travis just took himself off though with a hamstring problem.

The injured players in Davey, TJ, Shaw and Rocca had little influence didn't they, shows how fit you have to be to play these days. Shaw was still good given he couldn't run, wish we had him.

Davey made a lot of clangers today.
Tries to do to much with it. Got caught out pissfarting around with it a couple of times today. Needs to just back himself and his speed, and stop with our early-season form of stopping and looking to handball it to someone with a man on them or disposing it straight to an opposition player.

Rubbish yesterday. Get him back in the forward line where 'creative passes' won't directly lead to opposition goals.

He had no impact but unlike the Davey of 04 and 05, he still managed to make him useful, kicking that goal in the last term.
You can't fault his endeavour at times.

Just thinking about that, how similar was this game to the final last year, we were playing a team that was injury depleted, davey lost his way but came back to kick a goal and brock starred especially in the last quarter.
