Can we create a Bay 114 board?
Every thread we have turns into 19 pages and changes topic so often its a pain in the poo hole.

Yeah I think that would be a pretty gun idea actually.. that can also be used for talking shit and the like too. Every other board seems to have a sub-board except us :thumbsd:

Yeah. I think ill start a new thread with the seating arrangements and pick up details just to be sure everyone knows whats happening, but to avoid swamping this forum, a sub forum would be helpful.
so would it be appropriate to have a subforum where OT stuff goes as well as Bay 114 discussion ?

Yes this is a good idea.
IMHO we should name the sub forum after the AFC given that they gave us this oppurtunity.
AFC are calling this Bay 114 thing 'The Big Footy Experiment' so I beleive we should have a sub forum called just this.
The BigFooty Experiment :thumbsu:
This forum could be used for OT discussion and all things BAY 114 or other if we get moved to another bay or things change!
My point is, it was the clubs idea and this is what they are calling this so we should make something out of it as a thanks to them.
Besides, it makes sense. Both Bay 114 and a new Forum would be just that as the name suggests.

True, but a Bay 114 reference would make it a bit more unique. "The Big Footy Experiment" as a Big Footy sub forum sounds a little bit odd to me.
yeh just call it bay 114. Simple as.

I liked bay 114, because it reminds me of bay 13. Maybe we could make Total Power cry in the new board as well?

Both would be fine, just thought it would be nice to do for the club being it was their idea.
You could have a sticky inside for Bay 114. Remember too that Bay 114 might not be where we end up.
On the otherhand being it is our original home then it would always be remembered. We could have a sticky inside for the afc.com.au and call that the AFC's BF Experiment with an details on what it is all about and the history of Bay 114. :thumbsu:

I also think the idea of a SANFL board has merit. The board's primary objective would be to discuss Crows matters in the SANFL/recruiting but it could easily be extended to Centrals are shit rah rah rah etc.

Considering the SANFL is usually only one medium sized thread per week it seems like overkill to me. Granted, there is a little bit more SANFL discussion around draft time but I don't see why it'd need to be on a seperate forum to the main one.

A SANFL Crows Board.
I see what your trying to say, but say i want to find out how Ivan Maric did for example, i would have to scroll through several pages and find a one line statement. Same thing with match reports, all are very interesting and informative, why not give them a place where they can have their own specific thread?
Also, alot of people who are interested in the SANFL such as RoosterLad and Drummond seem much more inclined to post on this board than the SANFL board.

I think this is a good idea so one of you guys needs to start writing up the little history then......
I will put a sticky poll about the name for a new board to open it up to all of our members for their consideration.

Agree
with some OT threads moving to a new forum - there will be plenty of room for SANFL type threads on our Board.
The current single forum already carries many threads about players in the SANFL.
I don't see the need to fragment discussion any further

Campaign promises? Is there an election coming up? But you were only just voted in!
I can see it now - MD losing his seat as mod of the Adelaide forum, possibly to a dark horse candidate that used to be an ABC reporter and therefore having to relinquish admin duties. ;)
