Geelong @ half time were 44. They kicked 5.4 to then be 78.
West Coast @ half time were 35. They kicked 0.4 to then be 39.

West Coast 68 3.1 87
Last year we struggled in the 1st quarter but our 3rd quarters were great.
What's happening this year??
The so called premiership quarter. I think its more of a mental issue. We're just not switched on. We normally have a decent lead and end up gettin complacent.

Even the 3rd term against the Kangaroos was poor. They kicked 4-5 goals to 2 to cut the lead back to 18 points.

True that.
And last year's GF was the first time in our recent rivalry with the Swans that we led at half time. Prior to then the pattern had been for Sydney to establish a break by half time and for us to come back at them.
Hmmm that is interesting. I'm hope the match comittee are aware of that and addressing the issue.

This may be the one good thing out of todays game, we won the third quarter!!!!
Good thing to because I was scared it was going to be a shellacking at half time after the third quarter efforts we have put in during the rest of the season.
Now if we could just string four quarters together sometime soon, that would be comforting.:o

Yeah, they solved the 3rd quarter problem by shifting it earlier, to the 2nd :(
