something like 64 times inside 50 if you get the ball in this many times u should kick a winning score.

I counted 3 or 4 times where in the past a Phil Matera or a Sampi would have swooped on a loose crumb and goaled, the Bombers had alot of time to rebound from the last line. Ok Sampi would take a crumb loose or otherwise.

Rubbish. Essendon had more clearances than WC in the game overall and completely dominated those in the 2nd half. Midfield was very poor in 2nd half. Forward line can not be blamed.

Need a crumber for sure. Not sure who that is at this stage, Wanted it to be Armstrong but he cant kick. Other then that. The forward line is fine by me last night

Agree, forward line wasn't the problem, it was the midfield in the 2nd half. Struggled without Judd being there and Kerr unable to shake his tag.

Killed in the hitouts too. Hope the midfield realise how priviliged they are at times.

i'm not just talkin about last night our goal kicking has been bad all year,i agree the midfielders faded out but we just don't punish side enough when we are on song.

All I'm going to say is that our delivery to our forwards wasn't great

Hansen was sorely missed

Brown isnt ready...thats clearly evident

Satker to CHF showed signs last night he can play that spot

find another backman...I dont have faith in brown yet..the kid isnt ready, give him time to develop in the wafl

I want to see Samps back in, and I think woosha realizes that we need that crumbing forward, it's our biggest weakness at the moment. Apparently Sampi did well in the WAFL as well, worth a try. Perhaps:

IN: Sampi, Nicoski, Waters
OUT: Morton, Brown, Fletch??

We didn't lose it in the forward line last night.

We lost it through the midfield.

There is no problem.

We're missing Hansen and Embley from the forward line, Hansen in particular is extremely important to our structure.

And we're also missing Sampi as a genuine crumber that we have needed, forcing Wirra to play out of position, and without Waters in defence last night we were a bit suspect up there.

Some nicely minted mouthwash.

No go and use it. :thumbsu:

And put Wirra back in defence, we miss him there.

He goes AWOL in the F50 for long periods of time.

Hopefully Sampi can meet his requirements by the end of this week and play a great game next week. If so would he be a chance against the Saints?

I've never understood why you don't play hunter forward more often, he's killed us in 2 preliminary finals the bastard >_>.

Seriously though, keep your forward line as it is, if you ever got a really good forward line as well it just wouldn't be fair.

He's a good backman and he tends to go missing when he spends large portions of the game in the forward line, kind of like Wirrpanda. Great pinch-hitters but ultimately play their best footy in defence. They can seriously hurt the opposition going the other way though :thumbsu:

Graham is TERRIBLE body on body

good rebounding defender but nothing else, Staker is better.

Forward line is definitely not the problem - it's the midfield, slaughted in the second half like they have on the last 3 away games.

wira has been getting as many goals up forward as the key position forwards. if he is kept quiet then eagles may be in trouble.

Call me Captain Obvious, but we need all our players playing well for us to win.

Just like any other side we are not that talented we can carry half a side that isn't contributing on any given day.

Agree. Plays too loose. Smith slaughtered him on the lead yesterday.
