ok we have had a little mod discussion and think that it is time for an Off Topic sub-forum but it can also include information on the experiment known as Bay114.
So the most important thing is the name. There has been a little bit of discussion in the Bay114 Board thread but now I am opening it up to you all and most popular name wins!
If you click for Other then please provide an option.
Just Crowing. I like mine. Didn't see the other option, now I do. :)

Spot on Swanfan their sub-forum is called the nest which is why I didn't include it in one of the options.

After the Bounce
Personally I like the Murder room as it relates to a 'murder' of crows but there could be issues with the term Murder room....
My youngest sister has just come up with a related name - "the murder of crows at the stobie pole" - kinda long but we are the only place where they are called stobie poles. :D
The family has suggested some other options
The Pecking Order
The Murder Room
After the Bounce

I thought that was a name that the Club has used for a magazine previously. We would like something that hasn't been used previously.

I'm leaning towards The Murder Room too. Gives us something unique, related to the Crows & appropriate for some posts...

It wouldnt matter if it dies... we'll all remember it. Youd have to say its the biggest project ever undertaken by the Adelaide board, and it should get the recognition.
Besides, Bay 114 as a name is like the South Australian equivalent of bay 13 now, so why not let it be the adelaide equivalent of the non football discussion board?

topjars - we will need to develop a protocol as we go along.....but broadly speaking all Non footy related chat and discussion about Bay 114 should go to the new forum.
We don't want to become as rigid as some other boards whereby any slight dfeparture from the topic is usually met with "shouldn't that be on the OT Board?".
This new subforum shouldn't change the way we post - most of us enjoy a slight OT departure in a footy thread but also know when to return to topic - so the last thing we want to do is stiffle that discussion.
Fairly loosely - if it's an OT thread - then start it in the subforum....other than that - I don't really want the decision process to detract from the topics - footy or otherwise

I like the suggestion hubby came up with the other day - "the Shirley temple".
A place to pay homage to the great man.
Other suggestion by no. 2 cockroach is "the legendary Bodey temple". Not quite the same ring though.
