HEy guys,
I was abosulety appauled at umpire descions both ways last nite in the last 5 mintues i know it always happens but when it hits that 5 mintue mark the umpires just put the whistle away which is just stpid i dont care if i speeds the game up its appauling and should be addressed they shouldnt be aloud to do it

Imreckon when it comes to the GF you wont see one "hands in the back" free paid for the whole game..I was shocked too, the umps were gutless a bit i think

I've mentioned this in another thread, the so-called 'interpretation' of the rules are ruining our game, the whistle shouldn't become a factor on the result, they are there to make sure play is fair and that is it.
The hands in the back rule makes no sense to me, it's not there to stop injuries, so why is it there? What ever happened to HERITAGE?
It's clear the game is worse now than it was 10-15 years ago.

No way mate. They will pay it as best they can in the GF.
Why the hell would they change the rules for the most important match of the year...? Esp the most controversial/loathed rule that's ever been introduced. People would never shut up about it.

You go back through all GF's the free kick count is usally very low...they let them play basically and this year will be no different

There was two games umpired out there on Friday night. The first 2 1/2 qtrs were umpired one way, good free flowing game only paying obvious frees. The last qtr and 1/2 were umpired completely different, paying frees that weren't payed in the first half and missing obvious ones.
Not that it cost us the game, we did.
