Most of you here will know more about AFL than me because I'm a relative newcomer (former Kiwi), so perhaps someone can advise, what do coaches get paid (approximately)?

There's been a rumour that Mick Malthouse is on $800,000, which would make him the highest paid coach in the league, but (as far as I'm concerned) he would probably be on half as much. In recent times, Neil Craig has been rumoured to be getting "overpaid" but he signed a long-term contract last year with Adelaide. Aside from that, I wouldn't have a clue mate.

Malthouse is on around $800K. Why "as far as you're concerned" would he be earning half that?

Neil Craig will be on between $700K to $800K.

Laidley would be the worst paid and still be close to $500K.

wouldnt think he would be on that much,probably only 250-350k
