very important past of our team. plays CHF really. leads very well and always presenting for the mids and backs. most importantly he is a hard in and under always diving on the ball and making a contest to keep in around our goal. loved his work last night.

Good to see him playing well. :thumbsu: Was good in the latter part of last year, but ordinary at the start of 07. Fantastic last night, though.

Played very well last night. His hands in marking contests were very very good.

A few more of them, Wiggler, and you'll be on the list in 2008.

I thought he was in our top 5 players last night, it was one of his best games.

He adds a lot to the team, hardness, present, good marking etc. attacking.

Great game by Wiggins. Good to see he's taking advantage of another chance

When you have these one on one contests on a wing, you tend to hold your breath knowing that if the front man doesn't hold the mark and invariably goes to ground because of the pressure of their opponent, the turnover almost always provides a shot at goal for the opposition. Wiggins seems to take these grabs with his opponent less than half a step behind continuously. Sticky hands at full pace.

Agreed - which, when added to his defensive work ethic, makes him a valuable contributor. Still like to see him improve his kicking though. Been very good the last two weeks.:thumbsu:

He still has issues with his kicking when he has time to think about it however. Once during the match Wiggins had the ball and no one was after him. I immediately groaned. He looked around, summed up his options and promptly kicked it to a Port player. :o

In my mind it was the only mistake he made all game. :thumbsu:

Maybe best game for the club.
But still a few bad turnovers

Wiggins biggest strength has always been his ability to take a contested mark. He just provides that extra bit of spark when he is on the ground, and he will always give you 110% when he is out there.
