Thanks to West Coast going down by a point, Collingwood can claim top spot on the ladder if we belt the Dees. Woohoo! How much to we need to win by? (anyone got a calculator?)

Assuming Geelong get up, i think we'd neeed to win by about a million points or so... but realistically, if we can win by around 400 points we could take the top spot on percentage.
Even if Geelong were to lose, I think we'd have to win by well in excess of 100 points.
Not going to happen, but equal top halfway through the season sounds pretty tidy.
Let's just beat the cardigan wearing bastards!

I did the calculation yesterday in the other thread...if im not mistaken (cant remember and CBF finding the thread) these are the scores NEEDED:
Collingwood 190
Melbourne 25

Want as many vic teams to win as possible, so no one has to go anywhere at finals time but the MCG and Docklands. :)
I think 190-25 wont even get us close to top.... That might have been the case if the cats lost... realistically we need to win by just on 400 points.
A scoreline of 70.10.430 to about 4.1.25 will get us there!! Woohoo... :eek:
It's possible, just don't know if we have the accuracy!

I am not confident at all about tomorrow. I would take a one point victory without a second's thought if it were offered to me. Presti is a huge loss, especially considering Clement is still out. Wakelin has been a bit slow off the mark this year when playing on leading forwards, so we may need to get numbers back to help him against Neitz.
