I'm sure I will cop a bit of abuse for this from anyone that doesnt agree, but could Carazzo be better than Murphy? I know he hasnt been tagged all that heavily yet, while Murphy has, and it might have just been a few good weeks, but could he be our new elite midfielder? Or will he just drop off and be unnoticed from here till the end of the season

Carrazzo is good, but not in the same class as Murphy.

Your said it yourself, its the tag that is making the stats look lop sided towards Carazzo at the moment.

If Carrots was copping the number one tag each week, he'd be far more subdued and Murph would be racking up 30+ posessions, being much more dangerous with them. This is why all clubs will keep their best taggers on Murph every time.

Its a great bonus for us to have another ball magnet in Carazzo thats benefiting from this arrangement.

EDIT: Also, carazzo has a few years on murphy. At 23, our number one pick is going to be one of the premier midfielders in the comp.

They're both too good to draw a line.

Whilst I expect Carrazzo to continue playing very good footy for years to come, Murphy is a class above. In five years time, Murph will be a champ.

so true, because Murphy = Damage. Not only is he acurate, but he is creative.
