Is anyone else slightly amused by the venomous level of hatred he appears to hold for us?

Was flicking between the PR and 720 telecasts at work and had to laugh at his open barracking for the Tuggers. At a conservative estimate I'd say he managed to slip in a snide criticism of anything Fremantle into every 2nd sentence.

Have we done something to slight him? Or have his years of failure finally sent him off the deep end?

He was doing the same at the South v Subi game every time Farmer went near the ball.

I'm not sure who is worse, Judge or Langdon.

Judge is WA's version of Robert Walls, but atleast Wallsie had some success as a coach. Judge was a tool and a failure, Walls is just a tool.

KJ was a great player but has been an angry prick ever since.

Was very glad when the Hawks got rid of him as coach.

I heard the 2nd half of the game and he was critical of absolutely everything Fremantle did and full of praise for the Tigers. After I got home I watched the 2nd half to see what all the fuss was about and it was like I was watching a different game.

Surely Judge doesn't think that if he bags CC enough that he'll get his job?

.

Have we done something to slight him?

ther was an article in the weekend australian about 4/6 weeks ago that mentioned bad blood between judge & connolly when they were at the Hawks
so i think that's probably the reason

The guy is an absolute ideologue.

I remember after we pumped St Kilda all you heard from Judge was constant whinging about how we aren't going to cut it. It is very annoying after we had won and all you hear is how average your team is. I guess its just Judges way of letting off steam after the team that was playing against us was beaten.

It would be really nice to have some unbiased commentry of games but that seems as elusive as tits on a bull.

yeah ABC really misses someone of the calibre of wally foreman he was an eagle fan but you'd never know it when commentating on our games
glenn mitchell finds it pretty hard to be unbiased too

Glen Jakovich is a disgrace when giving special comments for Fremantle games at Subiaco Oval.

Even some Eagles friends who have watched a few of our games with me this year, have laughed at every comment, because it's so obvious that he dislikes us. Am I the only one that's noticed it?

No your not. There are ex-eagles, and eagles media stooges everywhere in this state. You can't read, listen, or watch anything related to footy in this state that isn't tarnished by them.

I hope in the future this will change as more ex-dockers become involved in the media.

Channel 7 commentary on Sunday had nothing but contempt for our mob either.

I prefer to be the underdog on and off the field.
It tends to stick it further up them when we are on song.:thumbsu:

As I read on another board if you where new to town and wanted to watch this Aussie Rules everyone is talking about you wouldn't get through 5 minutes.
It's all negativity. 1 hour of Freo are terrible blah, blah then another hour of how we didn't deserve to win.
A new person to the game must have though, gee that Richmond outfit mustn't be up to AFL standard to let that woeful, pathetic purple side win????

I'm plugged into 720 at the game. (I was going to go qtr by qtr but I wont) So I'm listening and thinking FFS 'I know a bit about footy' but they way I view the game is not the same as the way Judge views the game.
I have no other option but think he, Judge, is not an idiot...He's friggen bias.

If nothing else he should be supporting (even in the slightest fashion) Freo but he seems to think objectivity gives him good reason to look for all the negatives he can find.

Probably cannot expect much else from a slime coach.

Will take 20 years for the media to even up here. Sunday times was a disgrace on weekend setting up Freo for a fall.

Judge is a tool full stop. We played him at cricket earlier this season and he is the tool of our comp. Was pouring with rain, everyone else wanted to call off game except him. Even his own team mates were saying how they would like to pack up except Judgy would make a scene. He was just an idiot for the next hour, we were sure he was playing for a trophy or something :thumbsd:

Loved it when he coached WC:thumbsu:

Is that what he was doing at West Coast in 2000 & 2001?

When Macca retires, he'll be in the media for sure. Then we won't have to put up with Eagles drivel everywhere.

Yes the balance of opinion n the WA media is pretty farcical. Just doing a list this is how I see it:
6PR
Basil - His nose is that big for a reason, little Eagles yes man.
Langdon - Ex Eagle, depending on his mood can call a decent game but can also be a shocker.
Jackovich - Enough said.
Rob Wiley - Great another Eagle affiliate.
Fanta Pants - Not to bad.

720 - Don't listen to these guys much but last I heard;
Judge - According to him we are bottom of the ladder and ready to implode.
Mitchell - Haven't heard him call on 720.
Doro - Harmless enough.

Jackovich and Banfield are both on Foxtel for Perth games if Im not mistaken.

Channel Eagle (7) - Not sure who does our home games on Tellie.
Channel 10 - Do they still have Mr Cork in the Ocean Peter Wilson, Tim I have no Testicles Gossage. I shudder to think who the local callers would be on 10.

I couldn't make it to the Richmond game and caught the last 10 minutes on PR on my way home. From the call I could not get any idea of what was going on in the game. They'd basically stopped calling the game and were ranting on about Freo as if they didn't give a toss about what was going on on the field. Goals got a mention and that was it.

Rant over. Thanks!

mate if your going to post, at least make sense.

Imagine being in a Judge coached side, that would be like torture.

HAha as opposed to how well the Eagles fans have treated Judge? I think the fact they refer to his time as the "judge era" because they didn't make the finals for a couple of years speaks volumes.

Does anyone else think that jako's commentary is fairly redundant? He might have some good observations during halftime, but when commentating on the match he says thinks like 'yeah he really needed to mark that' or 'he really needs to kick this goal' or 'kangas need to start kicking more goals'. Really?? Is that how you win a football game?

I think everyone is aware Jako is no rocket scientist. The stuff he says at halftime is fed to him.

mate Hawthorn and west coast have happily had that experience. The dockers were terrible whenever Judgey coached West Coast and Hawthorn.
listen champ, I can't speak for hawthorn but judges reign at the wiggles was the worst period in their history. whatever happened at the dockers is irrelevant to the fact that judge was a dud coach.

now off ya hop
