BEN Cousins had his first big night out in Melbourne since leaving drug rehabilitation on Saturday night, but Eagles fans can breathe a sigh of relief - the night was drama free.
Cousins was out on the town with Melbourne friends and West Coast teammates who had stayed on in Melbourne after their defeat against Essendon on Friday night.
Cousins was not drinking, sticking to water according to witnesses.
Well Done Ben!!!
Cant believe we have a "new" recruit sitting in the wings who looks very, very similar to Ben Cousins. :p
Should have a major impact on the squads fortunes in the 2nd half of the year.

Would like to see opposition teams try and tag Judd, Kerr, Cousins and Priddis. :p
You just know hes gonna come back even better than before. He was already BOG in the pres season matches just before the 'dramas'. Its actually scary to know how much improvement our team has. Geelong should be scared.

Unlikely to return for at least another month maybe late July/August but prob next year

And Cousins will give us an advantage in the latter part of the year.
Its not everyday that a powerful club has one of its best players "rested" for the majority of the year ready to make an impact at the business end of the season.

I have had a gut feeling about him being clean since i heard he was going to the gym everyday, it showed he was very determined and still has afl dreams.

Somehow i dont think drinking was the problem.

Benny copped a serve from Caro tonight on FC for being out until 3am with the wrong kind of people (she mentioned our previous 'changed man' was present), scoffing at reports he was 'on the water', Carey laid into her about how he should be allowed to have a life and did she want him put in a bubble. Was quite funny.
