What are the odds of Dash doing are press conference this week:confused:
I reckon 100 - 1 against.
He is a star.
AA this year.:thumbsu:

He has been a fine underrated servant and deserves to be an AA for many a season but I believe he'll miss the team again this season unjustly. He is one of those quiet sort of players that just get the job done very well and are not acknowledged by many asides from the club.

Dash and Ling would be the first two names to go down on the team sheet each week I reckon. Who do you think would go next or if not these two then who?

Another point on Dasher.
He's is the only player I've picked in my dreamteam every week for the last three years, (I don't remember if he has missed any games through injury or suspension in that time) and he rarely lets you down consistantly scores between 90 to 130 week in week out. My first bloke picked each year actually.

Milburn is one of my favourite players, so underrated in the media, but I'm sure rated by other teams and definitely by us.

I reckon Gazza and Chapman might be ahead of Ling but definitly Dasher is the first name on the teamsheet for me. Wonder why he has never been put foward as a possible captain...prolly lacks the leadership off the field, particularly media skills i guess.

He comes accross as shy sometimes, but i sat next to him at the season launch this year and once you get into a real conversation with him, you can't shut him up!

Were you the bloke who bid and won for the table for 10 or whatever it was at the Carji this year? i was on the same table with my old man and bro if you remember – i had quite a few that night.

I thought Dash was shy at first (he fiddled with his mobi for like five min before saying anything to any one), but he had plenty to say as the night progressed.

I have been bemused that Joel Bowden is apparently rated more highly by the AA selectors than Dash. Obviously I'm hopelessly biased, but come on, Bowden plays for the Tigers, for crying out loud.

One Matthew Scarlett might have something to say about that.

you can't shut him up!
As many umpires can attest to.
My favourite player, if I start talking about him I won't shut up.

Edit: does anyone know how he landed the sobriquet "Dasher"?

Goodonya Dasher, a perennial favourite for all of us I'd say. Also puts in every week and hardly ever gets beaten.

Go on and play 300, son!

From the way they're playing this season it'd be criminal if Dash didn't get it. On top of which, at least one AA selector (Healy) is a keen watcher of him.

And who had the front-seat view when Sir Mensch earlier cleaned up the Blue-bagger? Leadership. We shoulda made Dave Captain. :D

Well......Where do you start when you talk about Darren "Dasher" Milbern. He deffinatlely was the first player that I picked for my Dream team and I have no doubt that he would be Bomber's first pick for the Backline. I have a BIG :thumbsu: for Dash and his 200th. And hope we get a few more Awesome Years from him yet!!!!!

Good onya Dash. Been one of the best servants of the club I've seen.

Hope you have a great game.

You better check out scarlo's blurb on the GFC website. I think you'll he agrees with me

Can unashamedly say he's been a favourite of mine over the years.

Hope the lads can do him justice with a result on the day.

Dasher's so underrated, I'd thought he'd had a quiet year this year till I picked up this week's Inside Football and read he's averaging 22.2 disposals this year. I'll put it down to lack of coverage on FTA. :p
