Finally! For the second time (possibly third, can't remember exactly as it was that long ago) this year in the normal season, people in Sydney get to watch Geelong play on free to air TV.
Yes, that's right. Only two Geelong games on TV in 11 rounds. And yet we get to see Collingwood play almost every week, strangely enough.

Rock it out Julie, beers a plenty. Perhaps a selection of pies also?

It hasn't been much better here in melbourne I can assure you. I can only hope the second half of the year we will get some free to air time.
Actually heading up to NSW on the weekend and I thought that I'd have to wait until I got back to see the replay of the game so I'm pretty happy to have it live on free to air. Better have good reception at the hotel.

But at least in melbourne you guys generally get the 10.30pm/11pm replays for sunday games. Up here we get na'der.:(
About one game a month late Sunday if we're lucky. Cats v Hawks and Doggies v Swans are the only ones that I can remember being on so far this season. The free to air coverage is appauling this year, on Sundays especially. Now it's nothing till 3pm and then 5 ads between goals from then til 6pm. Last year you turned on the Sunday Footy Show at 11 and put the remote away for the rest of the arvo.
What 7 have done is anti Australian! It's my right as an Australian to spend Sunday arvo in front of the telly watching footy and working my way through the Sunday paper, when time permits. Drinking beer and eating a pie / sausage roll only enhances my day. Now my free (+ food, beverages and paper) weekly ritual would cost me $50 bucks a month (+ expenses).
7 should just say "look, we were greedy but now we realise we can't handle it so please Ed, help us out".

I remember I was in Sydney for the NAB Cup Grand Final last year. Had to wait up 'til 11pm, I think, which annoyed me immensely. Almost gave up watching after the first quarter, due to our awfulness, but stuck with it and was rewarded.
